Kitties!
About a week ago, Spitty sent us a sample of silvervine powder.
HOLY COD.
Spitty was not kidding how fantastically fabulously fun the 'vine is! This stuff is Da Chronic. Mommy barely got the envelope open before we were swarming her. Rupert actually abseiled up her leg (she had jeans on but she still screamed a little) to get to the envelope! We mauled the card and envelope for a week until they were disgustingly chewed wrung out of every last enticing, intoxicating molecule.
Mommy stored the powder in a tiny tupperware container, and she and Daddy have doled a little out every day. Bliss.
Mommy e-mailed Boomer's Mom, who is the "(wo)Man" for the 'vine connection, and asked for another little green bag to be sent...because we kitties deserve the best in feline psychotropics!
However, the post is slower than our consumption. Ain't that the way it always goes?
So for now, we are OUT!
Maui was jonesing today, so Daddy gave him the tupperware container to sniff.
Guess what?
There was enough stink left in the container for another good play session!
Maui got all googly-eyed...
...and then he got v-e-r-y relaxed.
Couch Lock!
Daddy tried to take the tiny tupperware away.
Unsuccessfully.
Eventually, though, he got his way...heh heh.
Happy Friday!

We want, we want, we want !
ReplyDeleteSo ome on guys, how does it rate compared to stinky valerian and high quality organic 'nip ? We want a full review. What are the follow up munchies like ? Does it bliss everyone out or is there a bit of aggression ? And is it legal ?! We want far more details - the pictures just make us JEALOUS.
Whoa! I need to get my paws on that silvervine! I wonder if maybe I can grow some... nah, my human is having a hard enough time keeping the catnip alive.

ReplyDeleteWe can see you were enjoying your silvervine Maui - mum sprinkles a little in a bag with our nippy pillow when she stores it and it makes our pillow irresistible. We love that picture of you with the silvervine dish on your head! You can get silvervine powder from Lupie at her Cat Shop - it's on her blog sidebar.
ReplyDeleteOh meow....you Katnippers get the best of everything...the best catio, the best skyways, the best litterboxes...and now the best drugs!

ReplyDeleteJust checked out that stuff on Wikipedia -- WTF? It's good for everything that ails ya -- cat or human. I think I've got every condition it's supposed to cure! Didn't say anything about humans getting high off it, however. Cats have all the luck.
ReplyDeleteOMC! I've gotta try this stuff!
