Kitties!
Daddy thought we needed a little "environmental enrichment" in his office.
The truth of the matter is that Maui, Felix and Sylvester
STAMPEDE in there every morning (the doors are closed at night--the office is Off Limits for Whizz Wars) and spend the rest of the day squabbling over who gets to lie in which box, for how long, when, etc etc etc.
Not to mention the myriad "floaters" who wander in and out for pettings, attention, butt scratching, and any other whim that needs satisfying. They need places to sit, too.
It drives Daddy crazypants(ier).
So he slid one of the new Cat Trees in here, hoping that it might quell the Three Stooges' antics.
It HAS, but not immediately.
First we had to check everything out...you know how it is when something gets moved. Inspection is crucial!
Then we had to have all kinds of fun and games--and Daddy moved the tree a couple of times to see what configuration
would keep us out of his hair we liked best.
Thanks Daddy!
Now even MORE snoopervising can take place.
And you know you need it...
Happy Monday!
XX Maui, Felix, Johnny, CC, Sylvester (and one Ladycat, Salem! Did you see her?) XX
Woo hoo, we're first! Have an awesome Monday. We have a special Mancat Monday for ya.
ReplyDeleteOK, TBT here... Ayla, Iza, an Marley LOVE your house and the kitties.
ReplyDeleteBut I just want to say that you have the most artistic house I have ever seen! I don't mean that I want to copy it, because copying originality is not quite my style, but I sure could live happily in a house with some of the ideas incorporated in it.
Cheers and kudos!!!
Your Dad is a genius and very well trained, kitties! purrr...meow!
ReplyDeleteWe see Salem! We would hate to see your Daddy go crazypants(ier)! HaHaMeow!
ReplyDeletewell congrats to your dad, he really had a great job! you guys are having fun :D

ReplyDeleteThe Blazing Glory of Salem and her JLLs is not to be overlooked.
As if!
You guys are just plain spoiled
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place for kitties and I love that cat tree! My kitties are seriously deprived.
ReplyDeleteCool. I'm glad your people are so accomodating.
ReplyDeleteI so envy you guys that awesome cat tree - we need a new one (or two!) SO badly...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Pricilla - very spoiled indeed! But snooopervising does need to be done, doesn't it? T.
ReplyDeleteQuite right. Nothing gets done without catly snoopervision. Meow from Au, Target and Guido.
ReplyDeleteYou guys have such awesome cat trees. We're very jealous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful LadyCat Salem is on the second top platform near the poster!! Yay!!
ReplyDeleteAwww wow!! Me and Charlie love that Daddy is crazypantsier than ever!!
Your tree is totally fabuloso!! Yay!!
Take care
x
::sigh:: CC you are so handsome. And athletic!
ReplyDeleteOh thanks a bunch! Austin now wants a cat tree! I tell him he has all the trees he needs outside, but he insists it's for supervising us indoors! >^..^<
ReplyDeleteLooks like you kitties have it made!! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI think it is awesome how you can jump to the top of the closet now from your tree!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Yoor dad is pretty awesome. He panders to your every need. Fab! xx
ReplyDeleteThat's a great tree... Bugsy and Knuckles want HH to get a tree, but there just isn't room over here.
ReplyDeletehave a super day.
pawhugs, Max
Cool - that is quite a set-up that you have there. I keep telling M she needs to get me a tree too! They look like so much fun.
ReplyDeleteYou have an awesome dad, we wish he'd head north and do a little environmental enrichment in our house. :-)
ReplyDeleteBut we can't think why he wouldn't appreciate your whizz wars....
why can't we all just get along?
ReplyDeleteAfter your Dad has headed north he can come east and sort out our place We want a few more cat trees and snoopervising places. We have mancat races to get to the best places too, and now the Burmese butterballs are joining in, it's chaos!
ReplyDeleteThat looks cool!

ReplyDeleteoh, we are so jellus of yas (but inna nicest possible way);-D what great cat trees you haf!!
ReplyDeletemommer sez to tell yer beans that we lives just a few blocks frum the mother road in springfield!!
Does Daddy ever move himself around in the house while he works? My Dad doesn't like to limit himself to an "office" so he stores stuff in there and then takes over the dining room table for actual meaningful paperwork. Drives Mommy crazypants!
ReplyDeleteWhizz Wars? We thought those were over? That pawsome cat tree will allow for even more snoopervising. Our human sez we don't have room for one. We are disappointed.
ReplyDeleteoooo - very cool - now you can look down on him all the time!!! MOL
ReplyDeleteWe hope you aren't going to tell your Mommy when your Daddy skives off!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
It seems that you should rename Daddy's office as The Katnip Lounge!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun it must be to work (or at try to) surrounded by purry furries!
Every cat is a King or Queen in your house! (As it should be)
Bet daddy didn't know he would be employing so many "associates" when he decided to work from home!
ReplyDeleteYes! It is our duty to snoopervise our peoples! We must ensure they does their job right so we gets new toys and Party Mix and fancey Feast!

Looks like a good place was found for the tree. Always a good idea to keep watch on the door!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday,
~ Bob and Patrick
We think you Daddy is just inviting even more of you guys into his office with the cat tree in there!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks like a terrific place for that tree...and y'all seem to agree!
ReplyDeleteYou have to keep an eye on moms and dads all the time, don't you? Otherwise, they'd be moving things all over the place every other minute. It's exhausting!
ReplyDeleteSuper cool tree!
Your dad is just pawsome to accomodate you all. And we like his Beatles poster too!
ReplyDeleteI was really happy to see your comment on my blog today. I miss all of my cat blogging friends and need to make it a point to keep up with everyone.
ReplyDeleteWe, too, miss Pearl. She was such a little character and the house is definitely quieter without her. Pumpkin and Pickles really seem to like each other, though, and for that I'm grateful.
I'll see you around! Happy New Year.
MOL MOL MOL wonderful enrichment items....buttt....remind us again just who's office is that?!!
ReplyDeleteYour Dad wins Dad of the Year in our book
Hugs Madi and Mom
What a cool dad you have!
ReplyDeleteUh, Cosmo wants to know how is it that you've had the tree for weeks and those mice are STILL hanging there?
Uh oh. Daddy why are you BEGGING for trouble?!! You know they are going to mess with your head all the live, long day and you are not going to get one ounce of work done!! Just giving you a cats' heads up :p
ReplyDeletethe critters in The Cottage xoxo

♥Abby♥Boo♥Ping♥Jinx♥Grace♥
So does that mean that the cat tree gets locked up at night now too? That might insite more wizz wars! MOL
ReplyDeleteBut it looks like a great set up!
Our mommmy wouldn't get any work done if she was in your dad's office since she would be watching all of you!
ReplyDeleteHi palls!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKisses to you!
Isn't that the honest truth. Just move something around and it becomes the most popular place in town. It is fun and sure beats buying new stuff. Just move it. Fun pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! We're hoping when Mom Paula finally gets her office cleaned out that she'll get us another tree.
ReplyDelete::sigh:: You have your daddy so well trained. Do you think we could send our mum over? She needs a lot of extra tuition to get to the standard we want.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! What a pawsome setup!!!! You get to have a super tree AND access to your Dad all day!! Purrfect setup ;)
ReplyDeletePurrs Tillie and Georgia,
Tiger,Treasure and JJ
On the one hand, you kitties are some pampered puddy cats. On the other hand you Dad is a genius for finding a way to keep you all amused while you're not snoopervising!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
Wow!! You kitties have it made we really like your tree and all that cool stuff at your place...lucky kitties. Yep, we saw Salem. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteI hate being #52 to comment. What can I possibly say that hasn't been said. Love the tree. The kitties don't know how lucky they are to have such cool and caring parents. Good job to both of you.
ReplyDeleteI made a fleece box cover, but it's too big. The cats have it off the box every time I go in the room. Fine! They can lay on the towel.
Sorry I haven't visited in a while, and now I see how much I was missing. Love all these photos. (Our Freckles, kind of looks like your orange and white cat).
ReplyDeleteWow, are you the luckiest kitties,or what??!! Your office is amazing and it is so nice of you to share it wiff your Dad!
ReplyDeleteAlso, you have the cadillac of climbing trees...ours came from Costco!
Have to go now, need to make sum posters, we will be going on strike tomorrow!
That's pretty cool! The closest thing I have to that is three sets of stairs. Excellent for twirling, jumping and sprinting. Now if only I could get Glogirly to move them by the windows.
ReplyDelete: ) Katie
We like how your Daddy is looking out for you guys all the time. Can we borrow him??
ReplyDeletepoor Daddy!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the Route 66 signs I couldn't stop thinking of "get your kicks from Route 66!!"
I bet there is some good bunny "kicking" that goes on there!
Love your Beatles photo! (I notice the strangest things don't I?)
Hope the new configuration works out well for your Daddy!
Your house is awesome. Total kitty paradise.
ReplyDeletewe sure all of you live in heaven!!!
