Puffball Fun

Kitties!

May Ling here.
There is something special in the closet that I'm trying to reach...

GOT IT! 
It's my Special Pink Sparkle Ball, aka The Puff.

I love The Puff, I play with it all the time.  No other puff is as good as THE Puff.
Believe me, Mommy has tried to give me other puffs when The Puff goes missing and I will NOT be placated with any old puff.  I like my ratty smelly pink sparkle ball.
We have a special game.

See, I'm acting all innocent, and so is The Puff. 
*la di daa daa*

Then I POUNCE! 
The Puff tries to get away, so I go for another tactic.

The Sneak Attack! 
But The Puff is sneaky too, it knows all kinds of evasive moves...

...staying *juuuuust* out of reach. 
Eventually I'll win--I think I can get it this time.

YES! 
The Puff is trapped under the door.

Time to retrieve it and tally up the score.

What's that Daddy?
What am I doing? 
Nothing...

    May Ling! I love my puff(s) also; the older ratty ones are best, but sometimes even a shiny new one will do. They are so light and flighty! They taunt me with their glittery allure and then they slip away, just beyond my grasp. Often, I stash them safely under a bench or chair meaning to retrieve them, but they skitter just out of reach. It drives me MAD, I tell you, MAD.

    You did great with that puff! We all have favrits here too. Iza adores her pink cloth mousie, I adore milk rings, an Marley likes ping pong balls (but is startin ta like rattley mousies too), but no REAL one favrit yet.

    It's true, cats have color preferences! I tested it out on Star when I first heard that and she prefers black toys. I need to test Leo's color preference one of these days....

    We can see that puff is tricky and tries to out fox you, but we knew you would win.The oldest toys are often the best and cannot be replaced, just like my Scruffy Rat aka Fred Bare.
