Look Who's Coming to Dinner!

Kitties!

Sweet Pea here.

Guess who's been "visiting" us?
The pigeons!
Daddy has been feeding them again to keep us amused.

Check 'em out!

The Baby and May Ling are trading recipes...

...the favorite so far is Roasted Squab with Meow Mix stuffing!
Mr. Blue (on the left) is dancing with excitement with the anticipation of being our...erm...dinner "guest".

Mrs. Brown is back and she brought a new pigeon with her that we've never seen before.

Mommy calls him (her?--we have no idea what sex these pigeons are) Sir Speckles.
She is so original.
*sigh*

Daddy also put out a watering station.  Look at how Mrs. Brown is standing...is that what peeps mean by "pigeon-toed?
ha ha ha ha!

Drink up, Mrs. Brown, we kitties hate dry stuffing.

Hmmmm, she must not have a good sense of humor...

The End!

Happy Thursday!

  2. What a great dad to provide that kind of entertainment! Those pigeons look like they flew in from NYC. Do they have an accent?

  3. Looks like you got the bum of disrespect on that last one! How very delectable!

  4. Oh Sweet Pea--You are the Furry Face of Feline Death lurking there behind that grill! You're skeery, MOL!

  5. Mr Blue looks like the family we have next door. I have a great view from my window. I wonder if they'd want to come and be...er...come over FOR dinner...

  6. WE would consider that a mild form of torture. We can handle seein birdies at the feeder in the yard, but up close that would be TOO hard.

  7. Wow! We haven't seen birds that big before. We have some little finches flying around our front porch this week.

  8. We would go nuts! Come on, how do you manage to stay inside with that going on ? By the way, to tell which sex they are, Äiti says you have to watch carefully and it's the boy pigeons who climb on top. They can then be eaten. You have to wait with the girls because in a few weeks they will be producing really tasty little snacks for you.

  9. That is awfully nice of your dad to feed the birds to keep you amused. And it works out well for the birds too, although I'm surprised they're not unnerved by 13 pairs of feline eyes staring at them. I guess they ARE bird-brained, though. Heh.

  13. Is that pigeon giving you kitties the back of disrespect?! How rude!

  14. Those pictures have us chattering at the screen! Our mum chased our pigeons away when we lived in Sydney because a whole flock moved in and started crapping everywhere. We have two doves at our house now and they are much more polite.
