The REYED, Continued!

Kitties!

Salem here...with Part II of the Red Enticing Yet Elusive Dot (REYED) saga.

The story ended yesterday with me preparing to kill REYED, but once again, that scurvy knave eluded my claws.
 Rats.

Apparently, REYED had other Cats to tease!
Sylvester was REYED's next opponent.

Sylvester made frenzied murderous machine paws on the wall!

REYED escaped to the floor.
(Um, sorry about the pink starfish...at least Sylvester keeps a verreh clean machine.)

Sylvester was in hot purrsuit of the rascally REYED.
He very nearly got it!

He waited for REYED to come closer...
...REYED is somewhat suicidal; it can't stay away for long.

We tried to lure it into Daddy office.
But to no avail.

It seemed that REYED might win this round!
Then again, maybe not...

To Be Continued...

Happy Friday!

  1. We thought the pink starfish was a PEYED. Nothing wrong with a bit of bum flesh: we'd happily sniff that any day.
Here in Finland (North) we have a GEYED (green) and a PEYED (purple) and they are both as sneaky as the REYED. We keep catching them and deading them, and then they reappear.
    Keeps us happy though.

  7. I played wif that fing for awhile but in the end I dedded it (or maybe it ws just the batteries that got dedded).

S&S could be twins! (Of course, I have no interest in Sylvester's JLLs, if he had them, which I have no idea whether he does or not cause I don't pay any attention to such things).

  18. REYED visits me all the time too! but i lose interest way too quick. I often just wind up staring at the piece that always seems to be in mommeh's hand while reyed is here.... it's so strange...

  22. My kitties don't like to play with those reyeds much which is too bad cuz' they are good exercise and fun, too. MOL at pink starfish.

  23. We got that mysterious red thing here too. Mama was hoping that red dot would get us up and moving. It did but not as much as she would have liked.

  24. Dastardly fellow that REYED is!

My tail, well, Meowm needs to scrub it with those pads, but I HATE having it messed with. Still she tries, but black spots are already coming back. And Meowm says it feels very warm, although it might just feel that way because it is still purrty nood! All she can do is keep trying to medicate it and hope for the best. Thanks for inquiring.

  34. We dont play Red Dot here. We learned to look up at TBT's hand whenever there's a toy in play, an he's afraid that thing will blind us.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oh my Cod, this will be quite the trilogy....we put our bets on one of you pouncing on that red dot and that will be the end of the story.
Speaking of Ends, Mom is still laughing about the pink starfish!

    Happy Weekend!

  36. Our mommy is laughing too hard to type for us. Humans are easily amused by pink starfish.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Wow! Your reyed has a life of its own. your mommy must be very good at that. Our mommy is NOT so good and we always know its her. She needs to be reminded all the time to be faster at it.

  39. I let my peeps think I like to play with REYED by chasing it a couple of times across the room. Then I hear them clicking it on and off, laughing at my empty paws when I grab for it...and I let'em know I know they are the controllers of the beastly REYED! Then I turn my back on it and leave

  40. You know, if cats were really as smart as they THINK they are, they wouldn't fall for this crap! ;)

Oh Boy...this is gonna be GREAT!
