Kitties!
Do you remember that we told you on Tuesday that our Mommy worked her butt off neglected us this past week? Well, it gets worse!
Because now she has a sicky.
It's all Daddy's fault, really. He got a sinus infection from his spring allergies and somehow he passed it on to Mommy. Prolly kissing or something gross like that. So today we've been working our little paws to nubbins, roasting her to death laying on her and making sure she stays nailed to the couch rests.
::snicker::
Mommy, are you sure you're typing what we're dictating?
Of course, dears.
Kitties, nursing is grueling work. Mommy is a bad patient. It makes us hungry. So it's a darn good thing that Mommy isn't too weak to feed us our cat treats!
Do you see the giant piles she gave us? That's because we're feline swine such attentive nurses.
::guffaw::
What's so funny, Mommy?
Nothing, sweeties. I was coughing, not laughing.
Happy Thursday!
XX The Nurse Kats XX
Poor Mommy - sorry to hear you've got the sickies - I hope all the nursing is successful! T.
ReplyDeleteMy Human suffered a period of damage over the past weeks. It went on for about ten days. I did NUFFING to make her feel better. That is not my job. It is HER job to make ME feel happy and well cared-for. That is why she gotted me, to provide service. It's part of my contract.
ReplyDeleteIf you keep taking care of your Mommy like this, she will come to expect it, and then your world be turned upside down.
We sorry to hear your mommy is sick. If she gets too sick to read, take her to the hospital! That's what happens when you do ewwy things like kiss (but everyone knows kitty kisses are different. They are healing and good for you).
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of you wonderful nurses and hope all that baking mommy while nailed to the couch gets her up and running real soon.
ReplyDeleteWho's the Nurse Ratchet in the bunch? Gotta be one in every crowd --
ReplyDeleteHmm...sicky mommies are no good especially when they can't get up and fetch our treats.... Your mommy needs retraining, so does mine. purrr...meow!
ReplyDeleteI don't get treats for nursing, so I don't do it. The moment my human is sick, I am outta there! No pay, no play!
ReplyDeleteoh Kittehs..I am glad your mama isn't too sick that she couldn't give you treats..my kittehs love their "crack" er treats..hope mom gets to feeling better along with Dad..you might have to sleep between them so there is no more kissing and stuff.;)
ReplyDeleteWe are sending healing purrs to your Mom, because we know she will be better able to wit on you when she is over this sicky
ReplyDeleteI hope your mommy is better very, very soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom feels better soon! I laughed out loud at "feline swine"--my girls definitely fall into that category too. Total piggies, those two.
ReplyDeleteIt is HARD WORK being a kitty when the humans are sick! It's only right that you get excess treats!
ReplyDeleteAwwww your poor mummy, we hope she feels better quickly. You are all doing such great jobs nursing her better :)xx
ReplyDeleteKitties! We are so sorry your Mommy is sickly. What a huge incovenience for you!
ReplyDeleteYour poor Mummy hope she gets better soon. You kitties are doing a great job to get her better. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteSuch adorable nurses...a little demanding maybe, but adorable all the same.
ReplyDeleteThis is just BAD. BAD BAD BAD. I hope she feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteWe're so sorry that your mum is sick!! Tell her that we hope she feels better very soon!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Katnip Lounge Mommy! From the Furrever Feline gang!
ReplyDeleteNursing is such a tough job. And you have to make sure that she doesn't do something stupid like rush back to work too fast. Keep her pinned down until there's no coughing or fever. This of course is highly unlikely as you will warm her up and tickle her nose with your luxurious tail furs. Good job!
ReplyDeleteWe don't even notice if our mom's not feeling well. That was angel Annie's job. :-P
ReplyDeleteWe certainly hope your mom feels better soon...and your dad too!
I think there is a law that says if humans get sick then they have to be yakked on! It apparently helps with recovery.
ReplyDeleteAwwww you kitties of katnip lounge deserve more piles! LOL!!! Awwwww please take very good care of mum and dad!! They must get better! Yay! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Hope you feel better soon. The same thing happened at our house this week. I don't mind at all when my Mum is sick though, because that means she sleeps more and I always join her.
ReplyDeletePurrs, Abby Normal
You are all such good kitties to be taking such good care of mommy. ;)
ReplyDeleteHope she gets feeling better soon!
xo Catherine
i was gonna wish your mom feels better soon, but given you are given treats for taking care of her, i'll keep my mouth shut.
ReplyDeletePoor Mommy! We know you will take good care of her and she will be back on her feet, catering to your every need, soon!
ReplyDeleteSince you are all such good nurses, if you want to come to Colorado I can get you a job where Mom works, they have been a little understaffed!
There is nothing like kitty loving to heal whatever ails!!! Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteMom and I want to know how many kitties will lay on Mom until she feels too squished and makes you all get off? Or does she just lay there and throw treats at you?
ReplyDeleteIf your Mom is too sick to fetch and carry for you and obey your requests instantly send her back to work cos she's being lazy!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
A kitty's work is never done, and all for a few paltry cat treats...!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
we are sorry your mom has the cooties (and apparently got them from your daddy)..... we know you are all doing a great job to help her get better!
ReplyDeleteI hope your Mom feels better soon. Best put her in a carrier and take her to the doctor!
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry your mommy is ailing. Hope she's all better soon from your attentive care!
ReplyDeletePoor Mom...we expect a lot of the sickies are from working too hard and getting run down. You all take good care of her.
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi and Mom
Hope you're feeling better soon Trish.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work in your nursing duties kitties. I'm sure Mom appreciates it very much!
Feel better soon! We send furry non-allergenic purrs.
ReplyDeleteWe never get treats when *our* mom is sick! WTP?
ReplyDeleteOwn! Poor kittehs... MOL!
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry to hear your Mom has been sick. But we think maybe she's up to something.... just feline intuition.
ReplyDeleteSickies are no fun for anyone! Good luck with the nursing and we hope Mom gets better quick!
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry to hear that your Human is under the weather. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon, and will be better able to spoil all of you in the manner to which you've become accustomed.
ReplyDeletePoor mum to be ill. You are the best nurses though and I am sure will help her to recover quickly... HUgs Gj xx
ReplyDeleteGots to keep the nurses happy! Hope your mom feels better soon. Know she will with all the excellent care she's getting!
ReplyDeleteNursing is hard work, but when the Mom patient is better it makes us kitties very purry.
ReplyDeleteIt's so crappy for the people to have colds this time of year when the weather is nice. We are glad you are restricting her activity. She must rest and get better so she can bow to your every whim again.
ReplyDeleteI think Mommy realized if she just loaded you up with treats, that she could get some real sleep -- without a kitty pile upon her sick self.
ReplyDeleteSorry your mommy is sick! Being sick sucks! But look at all the treats you get just for helping!
ReplyDeleteI've been doing some catch up reading, thanks for the giggles!
"feline swine" I have one of those here too!!! MOL!
ReplyDeleteSeriously sinus infections are the WORST! Please take good care of your Mommy and see to it that she gets better FAST!!!
Same for your Daddy!
xoxoxo
Yup, I know just what ya mean about nursing Mom is hard work! I did that last week...had to stay in bed with her, snuggle with her...I even had to let her brush me to make HER feel better...I was so exhausted I slept all the next day...whew!
ReplyDeleteWe don't know who we feel sorrier for, your mom for being sick or you guys for having to put up with a sick mom. But you did score some major treat action, so her being sick isn't so bad. But we hope she feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteOkay, Kitties, time to man up, all of you. Time to pay back mommy and daddy for all they've done for you all these years. That means extra head butts, long naps on top of them, and limited peeing, pooping, and shedding of hair for 24 hours. Raid the pantry and get your own kibble, okay? Good kitties.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon, Mommy!!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh Noes! The dreaded sinus thingy! We hates it when that happens to our Mommy! What's that yous says Mommy, yous has one now and wants to go to bed? Forgets it! Me has peoples to visit!
ReplyDeleteKisses to your Mommy
Nellie
