We have Exciting News--this kitty has a Forever Home!
And even better than that, two Humans have gained a Snoopervisor.
How appropriate for Labor Day.
My name is Shadow, and I'm two years old. On Saturday a nice couple came into the shelter where I was staying. I trotted up right away to say hello, because I'm really friendly, and because I could see that they were in desperate need of Snoopervision! My name isn't Shadow for nothing--I like to follow the peeps around and check on all their doings.
We got along wonderfully, so the next day they came back to take me home with them!
If you don't mind I'd rather not discuss the car ride. Let's just say I can really belt out a tune.
When I got to my Home I wandered all over, repeatedly, to check everything out.
I started rubbing my cheeks on the furniture and wall corners to make everything mine...
...and I did the Squirty Dance--that's where you back up to a wall and vigorously vibrate your tail whilst treading with your back feets. I'm a good girl though--My Squirty Dances don't have any "squirt" to 'em.
Here I am with my Dad!
He shows promise. I can tell.
I'll have him whipped into shape in no time.
Ahhh, yes, right behind the ears. Purrfect.
I sat on the sofa with my Mom, too. It was verreh pleasing. She liked it too!
Then I sat on their laps, and Mom brushed me. It was wonderful, and I purred up a storm.
It's so nice to have a Home.
Yes! The Grandpawrents adopted a cat!
Shadow looks like an all-black version of The Baby with her big round eyes and curved ear-tips. She's chatty, and so far she's adapting to her new surroundings with aplomb. We are so happy for the G's and for Shadow. She is settling in nicely, and we bet within a week she'll rule the roost.
As is only Right and Proper.
