Kitties!
Felix here, and I have a tiny favor to ask.
Did you know that when we started blogging I had just had surgery on my leg for a luxated patella?
Mommy contacted some bloggers for information about my knee problem and we were overwhelmed by your purrs and support!
It was pretty hurty, even with the pain patch.
But I healed up quickly, this photo is 35 days after my operation. My furs were growing back and I was getting around just fine. Nowadays you would never know that I might have been lamed forever.
Now, recently I found out that Leader Otis from the incredibly funny blog The Cult of Otis just had an even more serious operation than mine--he had a Hipsterectomy! He has severe arthritis in his hip from an injury sustained when he was living feral and it was impeding his mobility terribly. (Mommy cried watching the video of Otis limping.) The only hitch is that Hipsterectomies are pricey, so here's my favor: his guardians have a Chip In to help defray the cost of Otis' surgery and physical therapy, which will be at least $2000. Can any of you spare a few green papers, or pass the word, or both?
Thanks!
Now, I gotta leap into this box with my TWO good hind legs.
Happy Wednesday!
XX Felix XX
As you asked so nicely.......
ReplyDeletePoor lad, we too know the pain of a naughty kneecap and shudder at poor Otis' plight. Paws crossed for him. And kudos to you for doing some fundraising!
We had Mom pop over and help out. Enjoy that box and the fun paper that came out of it!

I hope Otis heals as quickly as you, Felix
