Kitties!
Daddy found a Mysterious Object in the front yard, and Mommy brought it onto the Catio for us to have a looksee.
Kona and Sylvester were the first to investigate.
Rupert showed up to check it out next.
A line formed.
The Mysterious Object had a wonderfully intriguing smell...
...which we sniffed and snuffed from every angle.
Mommy turned it over so we could examine the bottom for Clues.
Kitties, what could this Mysterious Object be?
Come back tomorrow to see what's inside!
Happy Monday!

Pricilla maaas that it looks quite tasty. And rather like a birdie nest
ReplyDeleteIf it's a dried up fur ball, we dread to see what produced it!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a nest to me. There should be tasty morsels inside, but I doubt your human would be savvy enough to bring it in if it did.
ReplyDeleteThis horde thinks it may have previously housed...BIRDIES! Does it have a taste? We have often dreamed of these little meaty morsels in our mouths!
ReplyDeleteDoes it have a flavr? Do you think there might be little birdie nuggets in there somewhere? The Human says "Spitty! That's ghoulish!" But I say, "Everybody's gotta eat, Human."
ReplyDeleteEuuuwww! I thought it was a dead mouse, or rat! purrr.....meow!
ReplyDeleteBird spit!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a birdie nest to me too - can't wait to see more. T.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a squirrel nest.. kinda small, so probably bird. or very tiny squirrel!

We hope there are some yummy eggs or a trapped birdie inside. Our Mom never brings us anything fun from outside.
ReplyDeleteAndy, Kiefer and Gus
We agree with the other comments. We think it is an old bird's nest. Not that the bird was old, but that the nest itself is old! We bet it smells wonderful!!!

Your dad is so nice to bring things in for you all to investigate. We agree in saying it does look like a nest of some sort.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is but I am very very impressed at your manners and how you line up nicely! You all must have passed kindergarten with flying colors.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi
ack....run for your lives..... we think it is a porky-pine

Bird's nest with dryer fluff?
ReplyDeleteHhhm I think it's a birdies nest with dryer lint in it.
ReplyDeleteAlert the Meezers!!! It is an alien nest!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou all are sure brave to get that close!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a birdie nest with the fevvers in it. We sometimes find them in the hedge but usually the baby fevvers have gone.
ReplyDeletewe know what that is! That Woman finds them alla time after the big winds. She has kept several on a shelf up high where we can't reach 'em. (she's so ebil) We are surprised to hear you found something in yours??? Wow! Hope that's going well. Make sure she fattens it up so you's will all have more to share.

ReplyDeleteThat Woman is snorting in laffing from trout towne comments!
ReplyDeleteit's a bird's nest!!!!
ReplyDeleteOnce when our mom was a wee kit, she brought one home to show her mother. Her mother screeched and said "don't touch those they have lice!" Whether fact or fiction our mom remembered that all these years. Funny how things like that stick in the peoples minds.
ReplyDeleteIt DOES look like a glorious thing to investigate, though!
WE think it is a bird nest with baby bird feathers in it. But can't wait to see what else is in there. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh it's a birdie nest!! But what kind of birdie...that's what we wanna know!!
ReplyDeleteYup.A birdie's nest but there is something in it? Hopefully you can fry it up with a bit of catnip.Yum! yum!
