Kitties!
We thought we'd better post some photos of us, just in case you've forgotten what we look like! Also, Mommy has a ton pictures on her memory card from learning how to use her new camera; Daddy bought her a Sony Cybershot point-n-shoot for her birthday. She loves it! It doesn't shoot like her Canon DSLR does, but it's just the ticket to take along on walks and rides.
Kona, using an artsy-fartsy effect.
Grayce was her very first subject!
Sweet Pea helps test the zoom function.
The Baby helps with depth of field.
Scouty is another zoom subject! Mommy was trying out natural lighting on the Catio.
Apparently she should have used the flash on Rupert.
CC poses nicely on the "pet" setting.
Group shot, fooling around with shutter speed.
L to R: Salem, May Ling, Grayce, Felix, and CC
Tiny Johnson, with the cute setting on 10!
Over-exposed Salem.
Sylvester is perfect.
Mommy was very pleased with this one.
Um. There are so many things wrong here...starting with the fact that Felix LIKES wearing his fancy silk rainbow tie!
Holy Cod is Mommy a flasher! Maui is all washed out.
At least May Ling's baby blues always shine through.
Happy Tuesday!

Yikes. Point and shoot just sounds like it wil be easier for the pawparazzi to bother you kitties! Well, we loved seeing your beautiful selves anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteThese random photos are most excellent, and we think all the shots are perfect. How could they not be ? However now the pressure will be on if there is a camera to hand all the time. And those point and shoot batteries can last a very long time.....
ReplyDeleteMy human usually uses a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX200V to shoot us - it's lightweight and takes pretty decent photos for a high-end point-and-shoot. It's very fun... for her! I've gotten a little sick of it.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of a bunch of our favorite kitties. Mom always says that portability is an important feature in a camera, because if you don't have the camera there when you want to take a picture .......... well you know how to end that sentence!
ReplyDeleteI keep saying I want a point and shoot. It's hard to haul the Rebel into the goat pen all the time. I think something I can slip in my pocket would be easier.
ReplyDeleteMay Ling looks aggrieved.
I can see it now. The new feature at The Lounge: Formal Fridays Featuring Felix! Good to see alla y'all!
ReplyDeleteXoxo
Ms Stella
Great pictures - fun to see everyone in their own pose - And what an awesome pawty - looks like everycat in the blogosphere stopped by to help your mommy support the SPCA! T.
ReplyDeleteMom Trish, I think you know which photo I love the most...Miss Salem..tee..heh
ReplyDeleteMy mom try to find a light camera which can take kitty in action because her one Olympus .. When I move, the photo of me always looks like a ghost cat...Boo ! Tee..heh..
Thank you to share with us
xoxo
Mommy wishes there was more natural lighting in our house so she doesn't have to use the flash so much.
ReplyDeleteSomehow, we think your Mommy's birthday present isn't going to give you kitties much privacy....
You guys look AWESOME!! You're so lucky to have a talented photographer in house!
ReplyDeleteYou Mummy is doing a great job, super photos of all you adorable kitties. Hugs Anesha and Skipper
ReplyDeleteAwesome awesome awesome!! Love them all, even less than perfect ones because, well, because it's kitties!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAll wonderful shots. Our peeps mostly use their eye-phones to take pictures of us because they are handy to wave in our faces. You get much better detail with yours.
ReplyDeletePoint and shoot cameras are great for tucking into your pocket!
ReplyDeletestunning kitties =)
Looks like you are doing exceedingly well with the new camera!! Onwards to Photoshop! ;)
ReplyDeletePawsome pix of your masters!
ReplyDelete~Brooch Czarina
I went all ooh and aah at Scouty & Sylvester's pictures (am partial to gingers AND tuxies)... But then all you kitties look good no MATTER the camera's (and the human's) 'settings', heh heh.
ReplyDeleteAnd Felix looks all 'business-like'.
Those point-and-shoot cameras are brilliant, especially with a 8gb memory card. Except of course if you are the intended subject of every darned shot!! >^oo^<
ReplyDeleteGreetings and Salutations my Wunderpurr Furriends!
ReplyDeleteGood mews awaits mew at my blog - come see what I have for mew!

Great pictures mom - good job. Loved meeting each of you all over again too. Don't always get to see all of you if you are hiding somewhere.
ReplyDeleteto steal from spinal tap, i think the cute setting was on 11 for tiny's picture.
ReplyDeleteOh these are some great pics! I have three camera's to catch all the cat fun in my home. A point and shoot, a powershot and a big heavy DSLR....so maybe I should take more photos of the boys and less of my junk??
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda
Nice to see all of you and happy your mum is liking her new flashy box.

What an awesome bunch of kitties!
ReplyDeleteOur Mom has always had canons but since she got her hands on a Nikon, she just totally loves it and no need for a flash in low light! She first had trouble getting rid of the green dot that was pointing on us....she kept wondering why one of us would swat the other when she pointed the Nikon at us till she realized the camera was putting out a green subject light....ya had to be there, it was funny.
ReplyDeleteAll of you are looking great and your Mom is doing great with her new camera=^Y^=
you guys look amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou all sure haven't lost the magic, you all look terrific!
ReplyDeleteYou all are looking good-it's not easy being test subjects is it? mol

ReplyDeleteSYLVESTER DOES LIKE TO POSE...
I GUESS HE GOT LOTS OF PRACTICE POSING AND LOOKING GORGEOUS WHILE HE WAS AT THE VET'S OFFICE WAITING FOR HIS FUREVER HOME.
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
Your camera has a cute setting. Isn't that a little bit redundant?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on you millennium!
13 is our lucky number today!
ReplyDeleteWe like randomness. :-) That photo of Sylvester IS indeed fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of Sylvester is great. But we just like seeing everyone, whether too bright, too dull, or what ever. But I bet it is fun playing with the new camera.
ReplyDeleteWe like all those pictures and you all look fabulous! Those point and shoot cameras can work pretty fast so we should get to see lots of pictures of all you sweeties. Congrats to your mom on the new cam. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteOh boy!! We love when other kittie's Moms get new cameras! We get to see all the pawsome pics of kitties and we do not suffer Mom chasing us around pleading for us to pose!! hahaha
ReplyDeletePurrs Tillie and Georgia,
Treasure,Tiger,JJ and Julie
Lots of great photos with the new camera. Sweet Pea is looking delectable of course.
ReplyDeleteThe dots are back!!!!!
Wow what a kitty cornucopia. Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteMom has a Sony Cyber Shot too but she thinks it is the other one. Judging from her photos...maybe you should worry? Oh wait!! You KNOW what you are doing. Scratch that.
ReplyDeleteYour mommy has been very, very busy. The pic of Sylvester is superior. We also are fond of the pic of Baby. But let's face it, we love all the pix. Purrs and hugs, the kitties at www.thecatonmyhead.com, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette.
ReplyDeleteMowzers! Mommy's jonesing for a *MINI* DSLR - there are a few nice ones out there she's thinking about.
ReplyDeleteThey use Canon 5D Mark IIs at her work, and those things look like they'd get HEAVY after a while. Not that we kittehs make her work - or pay in any way - for a photo shoot of us. Nope. Wouldn't even cross our minds. *innocent look*
How do you like your point-n-shoot? Mommy needs to get SOMEthing, because SOMEhuman accicdentally left HER camera outside overnight and (wonder of wonders) it won't stay charged now. Pffft, silly woman.
I loved every picture and everybuddy looks toothsome. Where's the stew pot? I see several candidates. Tiny, you DO look adorable.
ReplyDeleteYou are surely getting the hang of it! it was nice to see everyone's photos today. :)
ReplyDeleteYowzers! It is so good to sees yous all! An me must say, that my Mommy would be furry happy with ANY of those shots!
ReplyDeleteKissses

It's great to see all of you...but look out...with that new flashy box, none of you will get any privacy!
ReplyDeleteI dunno. They all look perfect to me. In contrast, look at the photos on my blog.
ReplyDeletewell, I LOVE teh fancy silk rainbow tie. verrah handsomes.
ReplyDeleteI luvluvluv seeing everyone in so many different settings and light exposures. I have not let Mom test her camera too much...maybe I outta let her have her way with it...what'd'ya think??
ReplyDeletelovely photos! My kitties would like a silk rainbow tie just like Felix!
