Full Frontal Friday

Kitties!

Scouty here, gently digesting Mothzilla.
Many of you expressed an interest as to the texture, taste, and stay-down-ability of Mothzilla;  i.e. the White-Lined Sphinx Moth.

Well, I'm here to enlighten you...

TEXTURE:  Due to his large abdomen (filled with juicy guts) he wasn't dry at all--the wings lent a delicate, yet satisfying crunch, along with the spiky-textured wiggly legs, antennae, and proboscis.  Altogether a most satisfying mouth feel.

TASTE:  Mothy.  Not at all like chik-kun.

STAY-DOWN-ABILITY?:  Yes.  So far.

All in all, quite the delicious morsel, and the Condiment of Theft added savor to the flavor!  I highly recommend these moths--if you see one, don't hesitate--eat it.  You won't be sorry.

Happy Friday!

  1. Now we are positively dribbling here. You should become a professional food critic, Scouty - you clearly have significant gastronomical skills.

  2. YUM. We thought that might be the case, especially the part about the juicy guts. That must be the best thing. You are a great hunter Scouty.

  18. Scouty, you were a stinker to steal the yummy morsel. it sure is a good thing you enjoyed it. We're more impressed at how you got your body going into two different directions. The flexibility probably helps with your thievery. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
