Grizzled Whitey!

Kitties!

The Baby here.
If you think I'm looking a little miffed, you would be correct.  As usual, it's all Mommy's fault.  Because she made a movie of me playing on the dining room table--it was great--I was running 'round and 'round, killing the shoelace and generally acting like a wild thing.  And then...we discovered that the battery ran down partway through our play session and  Mommy only got a few seconds of the action!

Cod, she's inept.

Compounding her sins, she didn't wipe my eye boogers off before she took this photo.  Pathetic.

Anyway, I made her fancy it up with a title and stuff, and here it is, thirty-seven seconds of what was at least a good two minutes of vigorous Whitester action.

*sigh*

I'd trade Mommy in, except she has such mad skillz with the toys, and (and this is the kicker) she just gave me a fresh hot towel to skoochie up on.

Happy Monday!

  1. Yes, that was indeed inept camera management on your Mommy's part. Well, it simply leaves us wanting more with a sequel or two. And then a prequel.

  2. The things us generous, kind hearted cats will over look just because we love our mom's so much. Sigh. You just have to make sure that she tries harder next time.

  3. Well, at least there's the warm towel. So all is not completely lost!

  4. You did look more concerned with your furs than the shoelace....

  5. Darn those batteries. Perhaps you need the energizer bunny ones. ;)

  6. Well, your human will just have to schedule a reshoot!

  7. What's with this "grizzled" nonsense, anyway? Whities DON'T grizzle! Next they'll be calling you OLD! MOL

  8. Hmmm..we agree about the video but the toy is cool!

  9. AT the risk of pointing out the obvious, an inept wand-waiver is waaaay better than no wand-waiver. srsly.

  10. Don't be too hard on your Mummy, she is only human! Have a great day kitties.

  11. Maybe you can get your mommy a camera that shuts down when the battery is too low! That's what our mommy has.

Even though it was short, we enjoyed seeing your video! It looks like you were having fun :)

  12. Aw, the few seconds we saw were great! Guess you'll have to perform again when fresh batteries are found, no?

  13. Your furs were obviously out of order, but you fixed them on the video. Grizzled is a bit strong. Maybe tousled?

  14. The Baby, that was some wild and crazy wand action!

  15. Well Whitey, you tried your best. Sorry we didn't see all of your antics. Hope you have a great week.

  18. Our mombean has those days too, ha.

we are glad to see you Whitey, mom says it brought back memories of our "whitey" - yes the eye boogers and all - gone to RB a year ago in March. We still miss him.

  19. i see an academy award in your future...

  20. Your Mom needs to go to night school to learn that batteries go deaded if they aren't charged. All that effort you put in for about three seconds of action on the table!! BTW we think you should sack the makeup girl who left you with eye boogers.

  21. That happens to me all the time when I take a great picture of one of the kitties: they have boogers or eye gookies or dingleberries or something else that is completely unattractive. I feel for you Baby.

P.S. You look a lot like my Pookie. :)

  22. Now that photo is just screaming for an LOL cat caption! :-)

  25. Ahem.. maybe someone else mentioned this already, but is is not only possible but actually EASY to remove eye boogers after the photo has been taken!

    The video... short but SWEET!

And fresh hot towel sounds good :-)

  29. We understand you're disappointed you didn't receive good makeup for your photoshoot. We suspect your mommy will make a movie sequel. Sometimes we just can't have everything all at once!

  30. your the mom sounds nice! and that was some good play. but does you want to know what our the mom noticed?

she (this is SOOO 'barassing) cooed and awed over your the mom's collection of Fiesta Ware. ::SIGH::

  31. MOL! Well, I sure enjoyed the video although it was a little short. :)

How many times the Lady has lamented about not cleaning up eye boogers before taking a picture we cannot count. Your mom sounds pretty cool tho. She plays with you and gives you a hot towel. That's love!

    Purrs,
    Annie

  32. Beautiful The Baby!!! 37 seconds of seeing you in action is better than 0 seconds! Yay!! LOL!!! But that's still no excuse for mum to not clean the boogers off your gorgeous eyes! :-) Take care

  37. OMCs Baby mom's are often inept but dang it we could not manage w/o them.
At least yours has toy skillz!
    hugs Madi your BFFF
Nice eye boogers...I often tell mom to leave mine alone I'm saving them for dessert

  38. The Baby, she missed all of the action BUT we got to see you swat a time or tewo and ANYTHING with YOU in it is worth our time. xxoo pee ess: I have 1 eye booger and mommy can't get it out. She's afraid of hurting my widdle eye.

  39. I feel your pain The Baby. My mum is hopeless too. Maybe you can agree to a replay in return for a full pack of your favourite treats.

  41. Seriouslies, we're totally there with you on the trade-in part. *sigh* Maybe we can reboot and do a software upgrade or something???

Pee Ess: THANK you for visiting us while our mom was away doing crazypants silly work things!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Who, that really was pathetic. Mom needs some additional training for sure. We sure do like the look of your string toy, however. And the eye booger thing is just wrong. We always demand those be cleaned before photos are taken even though we hate having it done. Hope you get a better post in the near future. 43. You's got to go easy on the mom, she is human and getting old....er. Next time she'll 'member the batteries and forget to take the cap off. AT least she would if it was our mom, MOL!

Eye boogers or not, you is still a pretty kitty, Baby!

    Sasha, Sami, & Saku

  44. Hmm. Our Mama leaves eye gunk AND nose boogers on our photo shoots. What's up with that?! Too much dipping into the wine before they click those boxes is what we are thinking...and that half a milla second of a video your Mama shot... pretty much cements that theory for us...just sayin...

the critters in the cottage xo

  45. Good help is hard to find, The Baby. We totally understand. But the video was pretty good...you were going crazypants!

    ReplyDelete
  46. You are very athletic! That was sooo impressive and we think your close up is wonderful even with the eye boogers!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Maybe next time you purr for her you could stop after 37 seconds?
    Purrs

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, we usually think of "wild" as a bit more active than that, but we assume the wild part was the lost part after the battery died, MOL!

    ReplyDelete
  49. well, I wouldn't say pathetic, but i do have to question whether or not your human has "mad skillz" wif teh string. I mean, she seemed confused by your 'licking session,' when EVAbuddy knows it is a time-honored tactical maneuver to lull teh string into a false sense of security so you can strike. Oh well. Maybe she'll figure it out, someday...
in teh meantime, you go, you Wild Fing.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh, but didn't you look cute in those 37 seconds. We didn't see a whole lot of action though, maybe you didn't have time to get wound up or did you know the camera was not cooperating. Cats are really smart and we know that. Hugs and nose kisses
