Friends and Kitties!
Sheebie here.
I got a surprise parcel in the post last Wednesday! I recognized the return address straightaway and knew it was something from the magnificent marmalade moggy Skipper (and her wonderfully creative Mum). What I didn't know is that the parcel contained a gift for me, and not the Horde--it was a lovely hand-made bag...and you all know how much I love bags...
I was completely chuffed.
The fabric pattern is great, and the bag is lined as well--it's 100% perfect.
There was a pretty hand-made card too, featuring the beautiful Skipper herself!
Skipper has such nice paw-writing.
The flower detail makes me smile every time I look at it. So CUTE!
As soon as I removed The Baby from the bag (she is Chief Bag Inspector) I loaded it up with the afghan I'm currently working on. The size is just right to tote my crocheting to work around.
Thank you very much, Skipper and Mum, for your nice gift. I love it!
Happy Sunday!

pee ess: fingertip is healing well. I am my own worst enemy...*sigh*
On behalf of The Baby, I wish to file a complaint about her being extracted unwillingly from this lovely bag, which is clearly designed for her to snooze in or upon when she chooses.
ReplyDeleteThat is all.
Our Mommy loves the bag/cat bed! The print is loverly. What a great gift from wonderful furriends.
ReplyDeleteHappy easy Sunday!
XOXO
What a sweet bag - and gift! I'm glad to hear your finger is on the mend, and that your feline feeding capabilities have apparently not been hampered!

That’s a nice gift for a human, I suppose. Use it in good health as TW would say.

ReplyDeleteThat bag is gorgeous. What a thoughtful gift! Of course, at least one kitty would have to check it out for you. Nothing should ever leave the house without cat hair on it. Purrs and paw-pars, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
