Friends and Kitties!
Sheebie the Squish'd here.
Four nights a week I publish my blog from work, and the other three I do from home, often like this:
I lubs my Mommy |
Rupert, in the past six months or so, has turned into a complete cuddle monster! He even solicits his Daddy (previously unheard of) for hugs and rubbins, chirping and heat-butting to be picked up and snorgled. It's like one morning he woke up and discovered his love-tank was on E, endlessly. I don't mind at all...except maybe if I need to use the touch pad...or my left arm, which he loves to pin down and rest his head in the palm of my hand. His sister Sweet Pea is on the receiving end of his loveys, too--albeit a little less willingly than we--as you can see he's a bit assertive in his approach.
It's so nice to get unconditional love.
Happy Sunday!

If one is to have an impediment, we thinks that Mr. Cuddle Monster Rupert is the best one to have! Such a sweet pic and post!
ReplyDeleteTW wishes I’d suddenly turn lovey dovey. MOL! Can I come over during Blogpaws? Plush CK would love to visit you.
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to surprise the beans Rupert. Maybe you can come over and teach us here, mummy says.
ReplyDeleteWe all always try to get in mommy's lap. At times there are three of us in there at once, even though that doesn't last too long and usually ends up with smacky paws!
ReplyDeleteIf the choice is between cuddling the kitty or posting..... tough call! Leo often puts me hours behind when I want to post because he likes the warms from the laptop and he holds my hand keeping me from doing anything!
ReplyDeleteAwww, nothing like a cuddly kitty
ReplyDeleteI have to say, unconditional love is short on supply here - at least from the kitty side of the family.
ReplyDeleteWes is just now catching up from this week! Baby! es can't believes yous made the Blog 2 times this week! And wes was totally wondering how the baby hummers was doing. Mes and Rupert must bes on the same wave length!

Yes, Äiti knows it well. Pekka and I are the impediments here! Well, you humans hav eyo be creative and exercise a bit more, stretching around us to type our dictations!
ReplyDeleteDo you think he could teach some of that to Spitty?
ReplyDeleteHow adorable, enjoy the love. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, the love of a cat - how adorable!
ReplyDeleteawwww.... You're making me feel a tad guilty for banishing the Gs from my bedroom.
ReplyDeleteBut only a tad. I figure that's my 8 hours a day away from the many gray furs and the sleeping and numb left appendages. :)
Have a funtabulous, furry day!
People without cats would fail to understand this post, We do, our lives are run by 5 of them, giving up chairs and adjusting positions in bed are just some of the things we do for the love of them all.

That is so sweet! PS: Craft Corner, you are so very right. That stuff goes on all the time here.
ReplyDelete*squeeeeeeeee*.

What a cute impediment! The head peep mostly posts from her desktop computer, which makes it hard to find lap space. Paws up to you for making it easy to be such an impediment!
ReplyDeleteThose cuddles are surely a great source of inspiration!
ReplyDeleteIf you must have an impediment, I can think of none better.
ReplyDeletemol mol RUPERT YOU MAKE ME PROUD TO BE A CAT! KEEP UP YOUR IMPEDIMENT WORK...psst just let mom think it is unconditional love.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
Sometimes we all need some snorgeling.
ReplyDeleteIf you're gonna have an impediment, that's a good one to have. I like to do that to the mom too.
ReplyDeleteErnie
Rupert secretly between me and you I think YOU'RE the one blogging and your Mom is using you as a pillow! :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww that is so precious. Nothing like a lovey-dovey kitty cuddling close to you M says. I do it often in the winter (to stay warm - don't tell her that tho).
ReplyDeleteRupert is just HELPING by being your muse.
ReplyDeleteWe must always keep our people guessing! In the last year I have been jumping up to join Mom on her chair when she watches tv. Never before was I a lap cat and she can't figure out why I suddenly became one.-Shaggy
ReplyDeleteAwww... there's hope for our Mickey Mouser?
ReplyDeleteNo one, outside of my husband and I, has ever seen him. He's not imaginary, honest!
Brûlée is beginning to be a little love bug, too.
ReplyDeleteYou do your mom good Rupert! Nothing can make any mom feel better than unconditional love from their kids.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet helper! Sasha lubs to squish up with mom too (she's waaaaay bigger than your mom so it is really squishy, MOL) and help her post.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your snuggles Rupert!
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
So the secret is out! Rupert rules! What I'm curious about is why the sudden change. Nothing ever happens in a vacuum. What's he trying to tell you and Scott?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo pal! I'm so sorry I haven't visited in such a long time but that photo is classic. It should be on a poster!
ReplyDeleteSuch a good little helper! Sometimes Banjo helps me type. But that means his butt is in my face. :(

What the heck?! I wish my kitties would do that. I'm lucky if they allow me to pet them EVER. :(
ReplyDeleteHa! Those assertive cuddles are great... and inconvenient. Melly either ignores me or wants ALL THE ATTENTION RIGHT NOW and there's no happy medium.
ReplyDeleteJust getting his loves. Check our ManCat Monday post and you will see Ducky getting his loves.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's not so productive, but I think it's just darn wonderful. :-)

ReplyDeleteINDEED! Allie has started loving on Momma over the past 2 weeks. We boyz are wondering WHAT DADDY DID to be banished to the Doghouse like that (MOL!!)
ReplyDeleteMommy says she wishes there is just one of us in the house that acted like Rupert. We fight for her lap when she works and sometimes two us will try to share, and we love to lay our heads on her arm and put our paws on the track pad. We know she appreciates it. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThat is just so sweet. The picture is adorable although that could make for a bit of a problem reaching the keys to type. lol Love you shirt!!! Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteMe too LOVES to help my mom-person with the compooter :)
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Jack will often sit between me and the monitor. And no matter what I do, how I adjust, move the monitor, move me, move him, he instinctively moves his head to be in direct line of sight of the monitor. If it wasn't so annoying it would be fascinating..
