Kitties!
Maui here, and Victory Is Mine.
Do you see the delicious, slithery tail betwixt mine and CC's heads? By my whiskers?
It's a George!
My Most Excellent sisser The Baby rustled him up out of the rock pile and chased him onto the Catio.*
Where I got** him!
My mighty manly growling kept the rest of my furblings at bay...
...so I was able to dine in peace.
At first I wasn't too sure about the flavor, but that only lasted a moment, and then George was:
Down The Hatch!
(Where, to my amazement, he stayed--ed.)
Happy Monday!
XX Munching Maui XX
*The Baby does NOT eat lizards, the thrill for her is in the hunt.
**polite euphemism for disemboweled
*JEALOUS*
ReplyDeleteNow why can't our girlcats do helpful stuff like that ?
So, you even ate the tail ? Did it tickle ?
omc! our mom couldn't believe what she saw with her two eyes.
ReplyDeleteemma and buster
Harry wants to know if it's anything like mousie brains
ReplyDeleteDo they REALLY taste like chick-hens? White or dark meat?(we don't have lizards around our house)
ReplyDeleteHappy Munching Monday!
Yummy! Even better that you kept him down!
ReplyDeleteHuh. I know I should be bowing down in admiration, and I am, really, but I'm sad to report that my lizard-killing instincts have atrophied from lack of use, and, well, I gotta say I am awfully fond of my Fancy Feast.
ReplyDeleteExcellent Maui.We particularly enjoyed the last pic. We're applauding your Catch-a-George-instincts right now (away from our mom's ears)
ReplyDeleteHmmm - yuck.. T.
ReplyDeleteNose to tail moms well done my friend. Our Odin left his carnage half eaten.
ReplyDeleteAs a human, I have to say, bleh. But the kitties are cheering you on!
ReplyDeleteNothing but the best gourmet scaly snacks for you lovely Maui! LOL! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Way to tidy up! We always break off the tails and that's usually all we manage to get.
ReplyDeleteEvil Lizard!!! Gracie would give you a run for the growl if a juice lizard was her reward. srsly. She loooooves to make Gandalf whine while she dines.
ReplyDeleteI HEAR LIZARDS ARE DELISH DIPPED IN
ReplyDeleteKETCHUP...WELL MOM TOLD ME BUT HECK SHE COULD DRINK KETCHUP SO SHE IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE.
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
Blech. Do you really eat all of that thing? Tail and all? :O
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful my kitties are not hunters.
Good bye George. RIP.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
What a breakfast!
xo Catherine
We're very envious...but our human is gagging. :-D
ReplyDeleteOooh, what's it taste like? We've never had a lizard before.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your kill, Maui...but, um...yuck!
ReplyDeletetaste like chicken?
ReplyDeleteBy geourge, we all say bye George!
ReplyDeleteGreat team work, one catches and another eats. :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I've never eated a lizard before...I just eat the stoopid little furry things. Oh, and I save the head for Mum. Did you save that lizard's head for your Mum?
ReplyDeleteLizard! Did he taste like chicken?
ReplyDeleteWell done, The Baby, on the round-up of George. And well done, Maui, on your coup de grace! And don't worry, I imagine that George has many brothers and sisters out there, just waiting to play.
ReplyDeleteHow pawsome The Baby chased the lizard onto the catio for you. I think wild game is highly over rated, but I'm sure Jenna might beg to differ ;)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that's a big George!
ReplyDeleteGood job, The Baby, for chasing him onto catio! Enjoy your nice snack, Maui :-)

ReplyDeletePurrs,
Nissy
Well Maui, the mom is all "EWWW" over here, but we're all "OOOOH"!
ReplyDeleteWow that's what I call team work and you got to keep it all for yourself. I am very impressed. Great capture with the pictures too. Great work
ReplyDeleteOh yum! I really really wish a George would come and visit me. I like the chase more than the eating too. When mousies go dead and won't play with me I often lose interest.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like quite the tasty snack, kitties! I mean, *I* think it looks kinda gross, but I know my girls would be thrilled to catch a lizard.
ReplyDeleteOur mommy is grossed out Maui and is making a note to not kiss you on the kitty lips when she sees you! :)
ReplyDeletehehehe
ReplyDeleteOur Mom is grossed out when we ingest a moth...you should have seen her face with the george!
with admiration,
the kitty brats
Wow that George was a big meaty specimen!
ReplyDeleteoh, what a score, Maui! gosh, we have drooled all over the keyboard here.

Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
Does George taste like chick-hen??
ReplyDeleteThat was a rare delicacy! Maybe you'll find more out there, but if they have any sense in their lizard brains, they'll stay away.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Maui. Did it taste like chick-hen? MOL! XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteI have heard that lizzards tastes like chick-hen so it couldn´t have tasted to bad *mol*
