Friends and Kitties!
The Mommy here.
I just spoke to the vet, and as of 13:45 The Baby is in recovery, waking up.
There were no obvious masses, however, the small intestine was not normal, the vet said it felt turgid and stiff. Bibs also had white spots on her lower bowel and pancreas. Dr. Augustine got five different biopsy samples which hopefully will point us in the right treatment direction.
So, no immediate solution (which I was hoping for), but by next Monday we'll have more information from the biopsy results.
I'll visit Miss Grizz at the vet's office tomorrow to cheer her up, and if all goes well she'll come home either Thursday night or Saturday morning--a lot depends on weather or not she'll eat (and poop!).
Our thanks to all of you for holding The Baby in your hearts and thoughts.
Happy Monday!
XX Mommy Trish XX
