Friends and Kitties!
Sheebie here.
I have to apologize for the extended blogcation...I just sorta kinda turned off all my devices (even my e-reader!) for over a week and I'm here to tell you, it was nice. We had long-time comfortable friends to stay (for longer than expected--good times), cooked and consumed much food, napped, and talked.
Practiced having fun. But now it's back to the grind.
However, I've decided on a new word for 2015:
I'm going to slow down, and take my Word for 2014--content--a little further.
This year's Word is "Savor".
Life, food, relationships, moments.
Wish me luck...
Happy Sunday!

pee ess: The Horde will be back on Monday!
Glad you had a nice break from the devices....but I'm glad you are back. I've missed ya!
ReplyDeleteSAVOR- that is a GOOD word. Maybe we shall have some of that. Ours is more like 'change'. We expect more chaos from Bossy Boots. We are looking forward to the katses.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Did you get any of the snow?
ReplyDeleteSee, we kitties are really good at all that type of stuff - so I can tell your cats have taught you well. My human, I am afraid, is a hopeless case. She is pretty much glued to anything electronic - her devices will have to be pried out of her cold, dead hands!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a great time with your friends! Happy New Year to all of you, hope you have a great one with your new word!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Unplugged for a week - wow - that is impressive. And savour - translated to English ;) - sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteDoes that include sticking your finger up your nose ?!
Slow and savor : sounds like a good idea ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteHappy new year to you all, Trish. I like your word. I actually already have "adopted" Layla Morgan Wilde's 2014 motto for myself in this new year: Keep in simple. Do less, purr more. :-)
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you in 2015.
Happy new year! Glad you had a wonderful holiday! It's good to be away from those devices for a while from time to time :-) Love the picture and I sure hope you'll fully savor life, food, relationship and moments!

Good to see you back! Sounds like you had a wonderful blogcation with good friends, good food, and time to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSavor/savour sounds like an interesting word. I've never chosen a word for the year but for the moment it is relax. I'm enjoying my break from the cold and snow. Too bad it can't be permanent...yet!
Glad you are back and had a great time with friends. Can't wait to see the gang tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice for sure when Mom turns away from all the electronics. She really has had to while she recovers from her knee replacement. Mostly cuz she can't remember where she left them from one day to another. MOL. Gotta luv those human pain meds
ReplyDeleteYou’d best savor ME if you know what’s good for you. I’m gonna have to talk to those kittehs of yours—all 13 of them—and tell them humans aren’t allowed blogcations.
ReplyDeleteGlad that you had grreat time with friends !
ReplyDeleteI can tell you that my dad-person would love if my mom-person turned all her devices :)
XOXO
