Squashy Selfie

Kitties!

Rupert here.

Do you see those fingers behind me?  They are Mommy's!  I'm squashing her arm between my body and the sofa cushion...it's tough job, immobilizing Mommy but I'm just the Mancat for it.  And I'm sure you can tell by my pose that I am very Hard At Work.  Naturally I asked Mommy to take a photo to document my labo(u*)rs, hence this "selfie".

Also, if you look closely at my right arm you can see where the vet stole my furs when I went in for my dental--the nerve!  It will take weeks to regrow them right.

My work is never done....

Happy Sunday!

  1. Rupert, you could be Fiona's twin brother. You two look just alike, except for the fact that she has gotten so skinny from the CKD. Right now, she is holding our daddy down. Thank you for sharing this delightfully adorable selfie with us. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  13. Rupert, good job immobilizing your mom! That is certainly hard labour! Don't worry about the missing fur. We Sphynx don't have much fur at all and we do just fine. It's nice at the vet's, since they never have to shave us!

  18. I really sympathise, Rupert! I had my fur stolen from my chin and both front kegs when I overnighted at Dr. 's. I have been watching it regrow, but it's a slow process!

Great job on the pinning down!

  20. That is so cute. I always have a hard time when my cats pin me like that. It's uncomfortable, but I can't bear the thought of making them move!

Loving your labours *wink* of love with your Mum. You have such lovely fur I know it must be tough being mussed up for your dental. Miranda had a scratch and the vet clipped her fur the same (huh!) She has a pale patch now Grrr!!
