Sunday morning the opening salvo of The Great Chair War was fired; May Ling pre-empted the spot previously staked out by Felix in the new Poang chair.

Seething with jealousy would be the correct description.

And he wasn't the only cat with designs on the new seating--Salem had ideas as well. 

May Ling's not gonna move any time soon, is she?  

You wouldn't shift her would you, Mommy?
