...celebrating 'TOCKTOBER by showing this week (and all of you!) my Buns of Disrespect.

It's been a stressful week--Mommy has been on staycation and she rearranged the bedroom, necessitating endless hours minutes assessing the new sleeping Fang Shui.

Then she ran the ebil cat litter and fur leaf blower on the Catio and we were forced to flee indoors for our lives!

Rumor has it that today the dastardly Dyson will make an indoors appearance.

I am exhaustimicated.

*sigh*

Better nap while I can, right?

Sumptuousness and a Selfie

Friends and Kitties!

Sheebie here, on staycation, and I am positively luxuriating in sloth.

I've been going to bed early (I get up at 08:00 regardless of the day so for me "early to bed" means extra sleep), practicing yoga and walking every day, reading, and eating well.   My folks sent Scott and I a little folding money for our anniversary (next week) so I bought a stove top espresso maker and this thing is tits.  

It's a toss up whether I like this or french press coffee better...and rest assured I've been doing lots and lots of research!  The Keurig has been relegated to the pantry, unplugged and forlorn--we even enjoy the ritual of the coffee preparation--and the extra time is rewarded in magnitudes of taste improvement.

Naturally there has to be something to eat to offset all the caffeine, so I baked another batch of pretzel rolls.  These are delicious and soft, sweet and salty, they make great hamburger buns, sandwich bread, and toast...oh, the toast!  Scrumptious with jam.  They take about two hours from start to finish and are oh so worth it; I do a batch almost every week.
