Kitties!
Mommy here...shhhhhhhhh...
KonaKitty is sleeping!
My old Gal loves the summer heat on her bones.
And she's a smart cookie, to avoid overheating she snoozes up against the foundation which is cool from the inside of the house. This way, she can stay out on the Catio all day, until it's time to come to bed and sleep with me.
It's tiring, being the Senior Kitty of the house.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
Guess what? Kona has a secret.
Do you want to see it?
I know you do...
Her tummy has curly fur!
I fall asleep at night rubbing this wonderful tum-tum.
Oh look, it 's time to turn over and toast the other side.
Sweet Dreams, my pretty one.
Mommy loves you.

ReplyDeleteI always feel so much tenderness for a senior kitty...time passes so swiftly. Hey Lounge Kitties! Please thank your Mom for me for her generous look at my senior friend's book! It meant a lot.
ReplyDeleteI have curly belly fur too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet post! Her belly furs look like a little lamb. You know, over the 4th of July weekend my air conditioner totally gave out. I had a window unit from Saturday until Tuesday that kept the downstairs reasonable (sometimes cold), but the upstairs was about 100 degrees. I could NOT get Fuzzy to spend more than a few minutes downstairs - she preferred to be up in that hot, muggy area. I even took all of the food from upstairs to force her to come down to eat, but she LOVED it up there! Those crazy old gals!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet curly furred tummy ~ rubba rubba rubba!
