Kitties!
The Mommy here.
Mister Crazypants and I are currently working long hours to harvest, trim, and otherwise prep his special medical catnip, which is unbelievably time-consuming. How the State of Nevada thinks that a seriously compromised person (like our buddy John) could do this is beyond my comprehension. However, we're thanking Cod for a bountiful crop, and the fact that we live in a progressive enough state to make the process legal. Scott's quality of life is immensely improved with good medicine, and so consequently is mine. I'm gonna stump here for a minute and urge your humans to vote for legalization laws, wherever you reside.
The Kats will be back to regular blogging in a week or so...in the meanwhile, here's a few gratuitous kitty shots:
We lubs y'all and we'll be back soon.
Also, since Maui blogged about his barfing he hasn't yakked once! Fingers crossed.

Everything is legal in felinedom! har har har *evil laughs*
ReplyDeleteGreat pics. See you kittehz (and rents) later! XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteWe guess we have to forgive you as you are harvesting nip. Even if it's for humans. Make sure you don't neglect the feline nip though as the crew might just fade away!
ReplyDeleteWell done Maui for no yakking.
Glad the crop grew well
ReplyDeleteNip should be legal everywhere!
ReplyDeleteWhat, no garden Thursday photos? Oh well!
ReplyDeleteGlad you have a good crop! I'm with you--it should definitely be legal.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Maui's been yak free for days now. That's always a good thing.
ReplyDeleteOh, and that last photo of Scouty is to die for.
We'll miss you guys, hurry up with that crop and come back soon!
ReplyDeleteThere's just no way those special medical catnip can ever be legal here. And guess what? The penalty involves a noose. :(
ReplyDeleteMedical nip? You don't say?! Have a nice week off, hopefully, with nobuddy barfing! srsly.
ReplyDeleteGlad you have a good crop and hope the harvesting goes well. Good to hear that Maui has stopped yakking. The threat of a vet visit must have done it.
ReplyDeletei've never understood the arguments against legalization. to me it's a no brainer.
ReplyDeleteM has been in so much pain with her back and pain pills don't work, that well anymore. She'd love to try your medicine, but she's be tossed in the slammer here. Even tho she's old, she'd be willing to try it just to see if it provided relief.
ReplyDeleteDo you have to grow your own? Where?
ReplyDeleteThe Scouty picture is beautiful. Have you seen the "Talking Animals" video where the white cat with the French accent rubs on his Ess and says: "allow me to introduce you to my wife" "the interviewer says: "That's not your wife! It's a scratching post!" French cat says "If you insist on calling her that I'll have to ask you to leave" It's absolutely hilarious...to my sense of humor anyway! -L
we are glad you guys have the freedom to get the help you need (mom thinks it might help grandma's back pain, but worries what grandma would be like on the nip - MOL)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the little guy is yak free =)
ReplyDeleteScouty! You are the medicine we needed today!
ReplyDeleteI agree that human 'nip' should be legal everywhere! Glad you live in a good state and glad your crop was a good one. Great photos of the kitties as always.
ReplyDeletebut catnip is legal... oh wait.. I see what you did there.. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe so glad Maui's not yakking. How will we survive yer harvestin and not bloggin?
ReplyDeleteAh, the life of a farmer - wishing you a good harvest. T.
ReplyDeleteSe y'all later, sweet kitties. Wishing you a good harvest of catnip. Scouty looks quite comfy in the ESS.

ReplyDeleteHave fun with the harvest, see you soon!
First yay for less yak.
