Hurry up Mommy!

You can bet we were all excited to test it out.

Just look at the bag--it's HUGE--there's a lot of fun to be had here.

Some of us are discerning nip eaters...

...choosing to delicately dine.

*lickety lick lick lick*

Others were more...erm...porcine in their appetites.

And the silliness began!

Sweet Pea preferred direct fur application to get her nip on, she heard that green is the "in" color this Fall for fashion-forward felines.

The Baby went for a quiet, understated style; sporting a small nip goatee.

KonaKitty took the prize for the Most Enthusiastic Fur Design; she rubbed and rubbed and rubbed and rubbed her chin and cheek in her nip pile.

Have you ever seen a happier kitty?

Mommy was tickled pink for Kona cos she's so old and rarely enjoys the nip anymore--but this catnip really got her motor running!

We give The Natural Pet Company's Catnip an enthusiastic 52 paws up!

Tuesday Tussle!

Kitties!

Mommy is an instigator.  Among other things.

She bought eggs at the grocery store.  Innocent enough, right?

WRONG.

Because when she put out the egg carton for us to destroy, she laced it with copious amounts of our homegrown catnip!

Chaos ensued.

Sweet Pea and Rupert are regular sparring partners...

...so even though there are Swatty Paws and Airplane Ears,

no kitty's feeling were hurt.

Although Sweet Pea's tail feathers did get a bit ruffled!

Kitties!

Mister Crazypants and I are currently working long hours to harvest, trim, and otherwise prep his special medical catnip,  which is unbelievably time-consuming.  How the State of Nevada thinks that a seriously compromised person (like our buddy John) could do this is beyond my comprehension.  However, we're thanking Cod for a bountiful crop, and the fact that we live in a progressive enough state to make the process legal.  Scott's quality of life is immensely improved with good medicine, and so consequently is mine.  I'm gonna stump here for a minute and urge your humans to vote for legalization laws, wherever you reside.

The Kats will be back to regular blogging in a week or so...in the meanwhile, here's a few gratuitous kitty shots:
