Kitties!
The Baby here.
Do you want to have a little fun, watching your peeps try to fathom the feline mind?
Choose not to sleep in any of the three cozy and thoughtfully-provided beds, and instead snooze wedged between the counter and the cacti.
Guaranteed to provoke.

We have one cat and she has 8 beds and she still looks for different places to nap!
ReplyDeleteBaby, I'm not sure why you think that would confound anyone that knows cats... Cats do what they want, when they want and how they want. You simply wanted to lay on the counter with your friends the cacti.
ReplyDeleteHeh-heh, you did us kittehz proud, Baby. XOXOXOXO
ReplyDeleteFDW, Well, of course in the heat of the desert, the cool granite (?) feels much better on the hot feline bod than the snuggly bed, which are purrfect for cooler months. C'est si simple! Mrrrrrrrrow, my darling!
ReplyDeleteMakes total sense to me, TB!
ReplyDeleteConfounded or not, you sure like your having a nice sleep! Hope you had good desert dreams.
ReplyDeleteYup, you go Baby! That's a good one :-) We like laying next to the nice beds on the "our" (kitty) shelves Mumsy fixed up for us too.You have done good, Baby. We are proud of you. Keep up the good work. And thank you buckets full for missing us and all the purrs for our Mumsy. All you guys are just great.
ReplyDeleteA cat's mind is a strange thing! Enjoy your sleep.
ReplyDeleteBut of course! Why sleep on a bed when there's a possibility of knocking something over?
ReplyDeleteGotta keep them guessing!

ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
LOL! Great advice.
ReplyDeleteI know--you want to be in the spotlight, The Baby!
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show there is no accounting for a cat's napping preferences!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's just best to go au naturel!
ReplyDeleteNice one, The Baby! This is good and valuable information! :)
ReplyDeleteprovoked.
ReplyDeleteoh I sooooo understand! Love, Cody
ReplyDeletelooks perfectly normal to us. It's all part of the kitty conspiracy to keep us on our toes ;-0
ReplyDeleteTo sleep in one of those beds would be predictable The Baby, and who wants to be predictable?
ReplyDeleteThe lumps make it more comfie. Humans just don't understand.
ReplyDeletebut you are so obviously a nature lover, duh! oh well, enjoy the head scratching as they will neva learn and enjoy that sunny sunshine.
ReplyDeleteThe Baby, we do stuff like that all the time. The humans will never figure us out.
ReplyDeleteKeep them guessing.
ReplyDeleteha ha - I sleep all over the house myself.
ReplyDeletehee hee! our mom will often put a bed in a place on the floor where she notices us napping...of course as soon as she does, we don't nap there any more :D fun times!
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, HOllie
Isn't that part of the Code-of-Cat... Never lay where they expect.
ReplyDeletewhy oh why do the peeps never figure it out that we cats will find our own preferred resting place...they just need to make every square inch of OUR house ready should we wanna nap there
ReplyDeleteYou just gotta keep 'em guessing, MOL!
ReplyDeleteLooks darned cozy to us.

As mom likes to say, "Cats are predictably unpredictable." Besides, it might have been too warm in those beds. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
