Kitties!
CC here.
I love my brother John.
Wherever he is, odds are I'll be nearby.
We groom each-other and occasionally when Mommy pets our heads and they're sopping wet with Cat Spit.*
However, John wasn't in the mood today...
...and although I may look a wee tad miffed I'm really not...
...because the other thing I love just as much as Johnny is Mommy and she's right there, behind the camera!
See my ruffled butt furs? I just got a skritching!
So nuts to you, Jimmy-John-James.
suck up.
Happy Twosday!
XX CC and JJJ XX
*Cat Spit = The Universal Solvent
Maybe Jimmy-John-James had a headache.
ReplyDelete; ) Katie
If they cross the border, they could get married ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'll take a person scritch over a cat rub any day! Not that Ichiro understands that yet...
ReplyDeleteAs much as Mommy would like to, we are NOT letting her refer to Jimmy-John-James as "The Johnson". He has got it "goin on" she says. MOL!
ReplyDeleteCat spit is indeed the universal solvent - but we need to get a patent on it!
ReplyDeleteTJ is extremely worthy of such devotion and attentions, even if punctuated by a good scritching from a trained human.
I love how John's fur cut gives him a ruffly look to his color pattern. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteI hope Shadow is continuing to get better (I forgot to say that the other night) T.
Oooohhhh!!!! look-it at Johnny's nikked tummy :)
ReplyDeletesuck up.... we has that in spades of gray. srsly.
ReplyDeleteHave a funabulous twos day!
I have to be honest... I don't particularly like other cats' spit on my head.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just too hot to play.
ReplyDeleteTJ's mancatly thighs are sending The Staff into paroxysms of squeeefulness !..whatever that means?
ReplyDeleteNone of us swap cat spit at all. We know that Newton missed it, and had said that the next cat would be interviewed to be sure they would groom him before they were allowed in the door, but it hasn't worked out that way.
ReplyDeletetail skritches, shared cat spit, a brother to love... boy you got it all.
ReplyDeletenice to know your mommy is good for something around there MOL
ReplyDeleteI get 'groomed' by my Charlie kitty all the time! lick lick!
ReplyDeletemmmm, warm weather loungy loungies. xx
ReplyDeleteBut what I want to know, is do you slobber all over your mommy too? or is that saved for The Johnson?
ReplyDeleteIsn't blood thicker than water? Hee!
ReplyDeleteYou make a good couple. That Johnny may need a bit more cat spit to keep his head do in proper form
ReplyDeleteMum's are good that way...lots of lovin' anytime day or night :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful that you have a kitty brother to love so much.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a spit shine just has to wait!
ReplyDeleteSpunky is our "cat licker" around here. He would groom everyone if allowed to do so! Daisy will occasionally groom another kitty, usually Bandit.
ReplyDeleteAnd we do think TJ looks great with his summer cut!
Spotty dotty cat here at the farm think that puffy tail is paws~atively cat cool !
ReplyDeleteWow I wish I had a brother to love and watch over me!!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Miss Kitty
Scritches or licks?
ReplyDeleteScritches or licks?
Ummmm that's a tough one.
We'd probably choose scritches, too. :)
ReplyDeleteLove those stretched-out poses of Johnny's, especially with the new hair cut. CC, you got the rumpled butt furs (lol) from skritches, so I think you may have got the better deal.
ReplyDeleteAren't you glad that when one isn't in the mood, another almost always is.. :)
ReplyDeleteJohnny doesn't know what he just missed out on, CC.
ReplyDeleteSigh.. those two mancats are so handsome we wish we had a female in our fur gang.
ReplyDeleteNice to see two brofurs get along so furry well! In our house, Sasha and Saku merely tolerate each other, MOL
ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, & Saku
It is always amazing to her, Mom says, that we cats can get so sloppy wet just grooming each other. It was obviously John's loss that he didn't want to participate in a grooming session. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauridio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThanks, Trish, for the soft purrs sent my way. And always does bring a smile to my face when I visit the Lounge and see the latest cat antics!
ReplyDeleteLovin' that tail-pouf!
ReplyDeleteYou do Twosday so well! I was laughing and smiling.
ReplyDeleteHey, Johnny's fur is coming back in! He's looking good.
