We have a treat review today!

These tasty Origen Original Treats were provided (for free) from Chewy.com and all the opinions expressed herein are our own.  So without any further ado:

The Baby and May Ling quite liked these treats, here they are discussing the tasty flavor that comes from the limited ingredients--Chicken liver, turkey liver, boneless chicken, boneless turkey, and boneless flounder--there's no filler in these babies!  Just Teh Meats.

The Baby:  I chowed down really liked these treats, but what really made them extra appealing was when Mommy broke them in half for me.

Grayce:  I can see 'em, I can smell 'em...but I can't seem to get 'em in my tummy!

That's better.

Salem:  *snarf* *crunchitty* *gobble*

Johnny:  Do NOT be fooled by my raspberry!  I am merely licking delicious treat crumbs off my whiskers.

Scouty:  Mommy, these are so good I'll stand my ground to eat them!  (Even though you may be fattening me up for the stew pot--I'll have to risk it.)

KonaKitty:  Meh.  I hate everything!

The verdict?

Half of us liked the Origen Original Treats, and half didn't.  Those of us who did overwhelmingly preferred them to be broken in half, even though they are kitty-kibble sized to start.  We found the shape (oblong) a tiny bit weird to eat, but in squares they were acceptable.  Mommy was glad to give us a treat that was actually GOOD* (real food!) for us, and she's interested in trying some other flavors to see how we'd like them.

Miraculous Munchie Monday

We were contacted by Chewy.com for another product review!  

We received a free bag of  Natural Balance Treats to try, in the Salmon flavor.

Mommy shook the bag and whistled her special Treat Tune--and we all came running, ready to go right to work on our Purrfessional Opinion Poll.

Sweet Pea says YES!

Salem was "meh".  She's picky.

May Ling thought they were lip-licking good.

Maui gave them a hearty munching.

Felix was more interested in the bag...

...and CC was a little freaked out.

(He's not too bright, bless his heart)

Scouty weighed in for the "tasty" faction.

As did The Baby!

Johnny was a treat-hoovering machine.

But here is the Amazing Miracle:

The treats were so yummy that John completely forgot about wanting to eat his sister!

And Miz Grizz forgot to be afraid of being eaten by the Big Dummy.

It was a treat detante.

Our verdict:  Half of us enjoyed these treats, and half did not.  We are more crunchy treat-eaters, and Mommy thinks we may have been put off by the texture.  However, we always enjoy trying new things out, so our thanks to Chewy.com for asking us to do another review!

Mommy's just pleased to get JimmyJohn and Bibbles in the same frame, MOL.

PUNISHMENT!

Kitties!

Mommy is home.

We all ignored her for about two seconds and then we swarmed her!  She got busy right away, making it up to all of us.

Salem:  My cacky bottom received the Ye Olde Warm Washcloth Treatment.

Sweet Pea:  Me and Rupert squished Mommy on the sofa for hours! 

May Ling:  Mommy played with me and Headless Maui...then she trimmed Maui's toenails.  Not that the one has anything to do with the other.

Johnny:  I followed Mommy around woo-ing piteously until I got more than my fair share sufficient rubbins.

CC:  I got my bottom properly spanked!  And Scouty was served real live dead shrimps.

The Baby:  Was she gone?  I didn't notice.  I'm Daddy's girl.

KonaKitty:  I bared my barbered bosoms!  Mommy can't resist 'em.

Felix:  See my tail?  I'm still cranky about Her leaving.

Grayce:  Oh goody!  I like to bite Mommy.  Tastes like chikkun.

Sylvester expressed his displeasure most eloquently.

What do you think?  Was our punishment enough?

Friday Felines

Kitties!

We spend a lot of time on the Catio, and since it's Summer (HOTS!) now Mommy hangs out there with us after dinner.

She usually starts off reading...

...but then she'll get the urge to groom us.  

She sits on the concrete by the french doors and gives us a thorough combing.

The fur flies everywhere; that's what all the tufts on the carpet are.

We form a queue, waiting our turn.

Surprisingly, it's a fairly orderly operation.  There's virtually no spatting.

Because we all get a turn; Mommy doesn't stop until we say so.

Which is as it should be.

Thursday Thinking

Kitties!

Do you remember that we told you on Tuesday that our Mommy worked her butt off neglected us this past week?  Well, it gets worse!

Because now she has a sicky. 

It's all Daddy's fault, really.  He got a sinus infection from his spring allergies and somehow he passed it on to Mommy.  Prolly kissing or something gross like that.  So today we've been working our little paws to nubbins, roasting her to death laying on her and making sure she stays nailed to the couch rests.

::snicker::

Mommy, are you sure you're typing what we're dictating?  

Of course, dears.

Kitties, nursing is grueling work. Mommy is a bad patient. It makes us hungry.  So it's a darn good thing that Mommy isn't too weak to feed us our cat treats!

Do you see the giant piles she gave us?  That's because we're feline swine such attentive nurses.

What's so funny, Mommy?

Nothing, sweeties.  I was coughing, not laughing.

Tuckered Out Tuesday

Kitties!

Mommy just worked two 12-hour shifts back to back, and she's pooped.  She says there's nothing quite like getting up at 2:15 AM to go to work.

You may ask, "What does this have to do with us?"  since we all know that the peeps earn the cat food money live to serve us and attend to our every need, and nothing else.
