The following footage reveals a shocking event in the Kitchen of the Katnip Lounge--a toothy attack upon an innocent pineapple--purrpetrated by a spine-thirsty Sweet Pea!

Turn up the sound and you'll hear the savage beast purring away as she *bitey bite bite bites* the greenery--nothing like enjoying the job at hand!

A subsequent interview with the Purrpetrator revealed she experienced no remorse whatsoever for the vishus assault; in fact, Miss Pea denied all knowledge of the event with this pineapple (or indeed any of the long succession of similarly gnawed bromeliads, celery leaves, basil plants, corn husks, and strawberry tops), claiming that the video was a part of a giant "fake news" conspiracy and that she was completely innocent.

This reporter begs to differ...but is willing to bow to the court of popular opinion.

Meezery Monday

I have a little secret to share with you:  I am Extremely Difficult to photograph.

It's true!

For every halfway acceptable photo Mommy gets of me, she gets about fifty like this:

Mommy says digital is the only way to go with a kitteh of my camera-avoiding abilities.

Whatever.

I thought it would be a nice thing to do (and I'm all about the nice) and share my tried-and-true technique for messing up a photo session--it's easy--KEEP MOVING!  Keep the mood all lovey dovey so you get the pets, but never, ever, stand still for a second.

Mommy would like to point out that if she wasn't so dang lazy was determined enough she'd haul out the regular camera and use the sport setting; but like I said she's a unorganized spur of the moment type gal and prefers to use her phone, instead.  Lucky for me...

Do you see this sheet I'm sat upon?  They're flannel, covered in kitties, and they're NEW!

Mommy got them from her folks as a fun Birthday present (not yet, January 31st--ed.) and she immediately laundered and put 'em into service.

The flannel fabric is verreh comfy on my sensitive hairy behind, and I told Mommy just how happy I was about that.  You won't have to turn up the sound very much to hear me purring like a locomotive:

Super MEGA Manly Mancat Monday

As you know, just very recently I have decided to be a sooky la la on Mommy's lap grace her with my Manly presence every morning, like so:

I tell you, she has the cosiest pants (velour!), and that is the SOLE reason I sit on her.  

Really.

Well, OK, she's warm.  I'll grant you that.

And, frankly, it's the Height of Manliness to show off my shiny Ornj furs against such a vivid background.  It would practically be a crime against fashion to pass by the opportunity for such a color contrast.

So I HAVE to do this; it's more like a Mancat Job than a pleasure. 

So, even when I turn around and get good and settled in the Leg Canyon™--making biscuits and chirping and purring like a motorboat--I'm always the Epitome of Manliness, despite several malicious rumors to the contrary...

...and damning video evidence of me enduring loving every second of my Mancat Duties.

Mommy was getting ready to leave for work and I really didn't want her to leave because I am a needy greedy little Meezer kitty who needs love and attention All Day Long, so I tarted it up a bit on the sofa to delay her.

It worked!

I got some much needed adoration to tide me over through the next bleak ten hours, and I was so pleased I gave Mommy a little meow, which she--bless her--was able to capture on camera.

I am prone to The Sneezies (official diagnosis) and got hauled off to the vet for an exam and a course of the dreaded pink juice once daily for the next ten days.

*sigh*

This is one box I could permanently do without!

The good news is that I've whittled off THREE pounds in the past year, thanks to Mommy depriving us me of dry kibble and switching to canned food.  My heart murmur sounded the same (grade 1, not too serious) and the vet loved on me and gave me many many many head kissies and body rubs.  I have to have my teefs cleaned some time soon, but paws crossed Mommy will forget about that--she does, after all, have the attention span of a gnat.

A boy can dream, right?

Seppo's Ordeal

We have conclusive evidence that all was not wine and roses Catnip and Chikkun with the Finland Gang when Mommy was visiting...we found a video on her cloud drive of her giving Seppo--the Nekkid Sphynxie--a...a...a...

BATH.

**shudders**

And it gets worse.  Under severe questioning, Mommy admitted to administering not just one, but TWO water torture sessions!  Apparently there was a camera error the first time, and thus the "extra" (a week later) bath.  Mommy tried to justify her behavior by claiming that Sphynx cats need a bath every week or so because they have oily skin but we think she's lying to us and the TRUTH is she's just a perv who enjoys washing shriveled mancat sultanas--which explains the look of diabolical joy on her face in yesterday's post!
