Toe-Tidying Tuesday

I'm getting ready for our weekend* on some clean warm towels in the laundry room.

I want to nap and rest up, but something just doesn't seem quite right.

hmmmmm.

What could it be?

AHHHH!  That's the ticket toe-kit!

Oh my, now I'm everso sleepy...all that washing wore me out.

Chores

Kitties!

Mommy had help with her tasks today.

She did some baking, and I, Maui, supervised in the pantry. 

And I, The Baby, purrformed dryer inspection.  I have never checked out the inside of the dryer before.  Luckily Mommy had her phone handy!

Mommy shooed complimented us many many many times for all our assistance...it's nice to be appreciated, don't you think?

It's me, Sweet Pea!

The leopard couch binky was all furred up so Mommy washed it, dried it, and then left it all warm and crumpled up on the dryer--which was tumbling another load--just purrfect for a kitty to burrow into, and have a nice toasty nap.  So I did!

Mommy found me and was nice enough (after snapping a couple of photos) to leave me be and let me get back to my snooze hard work of re-furring the blanket.  I stayed there for most of the afternoon--bliss.

Wednesday is Wash Day

Can you find me amongst all this...piled up crap stuff in the laundry room?

Despite all the detritus I like the heaty bed in here...the garden window is getting a wee tad chilly at night.  I'm in here every morning, waiting for Mommy; she always makes a big fuss over me and we talk about all sorts of stuff.  I chirp and purr and when she gives my bottom some nice firm whacks I ME-OW with happiness!  

Nothing starts your day off right like a fun and invigorating spanking.

Dryer Disaster!

I love the Dryer.

Something TERRIBLE happened last week, the dryer started making a strange noise!

It went something like this:

hummmmmmmmmm

hummmmmmmmm

KER-FLUMPH

BUMP

BUMP

HUMMMMMMMMMM

hummmmmmm

This meant that Mommy hasn't run MY Dryer since Saturday.  I've been bereft of my hot, rumbly sleeping-aid appliance.

So today a repairman came.   He determined what the problem was (a faulty drum roller) and said he could fix it, easy.  But...he would have to order the part.

OH NOOOOO!

My Dryer was going to stay cold and silent.

But wait...Mister Repairman said it was OK to run the Dryer, as long as it was a full load to add weight on the drum...HURRAH!!!!

After Mister Repairman left, Mommy got busy.

She did three glorious loads of laundry!

And I inspected each one thoroughly. 

You can't seeee meeeee!

Peek-a-Boo!

I had a HUGE bath and a long nap this afternoon, snoring away on my wonderful, wonderful Dryer.
