Felix here. I'm Hiding in one of Daddy's desk drawers because we ManCats are pulling a trick on our Daddy today!
We love our Daddy lots. He works at home and takes care of us all day. Even though we have Cat Flaps to go out to the Catio, all we have to do is meow and machine paw on the window and he'll get up and open the door for us instead. He feeds us treats and deli meat and cocktail peanuts and croutons and cheese and White Castle hamburgers. We sit on his desk and get endless lovins. Daddy is also our Flashy-Box Man and he tries to not irritate us too much.
But all is not tuna & stinky goodness here at the Kat Lounge. Daddy does one thing that we completely fail to understand.
You see, Kitties, our Daddy is an old hippy-dippy dude and he loves bright colors, and he loves tie-dye shirts. He has TONS of them!
Now, we can go along with the tie-dye, that's OK in our book cuz we can always find our Daddy in a crowd (if we HAD a crowd) and we like the wild colors. The Problem is this: Our Daddy claims that tie-dye is a "neutral" pattern--that it goes with everything and anything!
It's enough to make you lose your appetite for breakfast, even in bed.
The worst we've seen (so far) is Daddy in one of his tie-dye shirts and a pair of PLAID shorts! Oh, and we gotta mention the red Crocs. (Notice the look of horror.)
But we still love our Daddy, even if he's a walking fashion faux pas. He's OUR Daddy, and we wouldn't trade him in for a ton of nip.

That drawer is a super place to hide. All the pictures are just wonderful. Your daddy sounds very silly and like a great guy. What fun. He sure gives all of you wonderful treats. We would like to move there.

I asked mommy to make me a drawer space!
You kitties need to get him some shirts that have cats on them instead of tie dye! Cat t-shirts go with everything for real!

Oh, dear, tie dyed with plaid? Has your dad considered attending fashion school? sigh. We wish you well.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should call Stacy & Clinton and put your daddy on What Not to Wear?? ;-)
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww
ReplyDeleteYour daddy is a retro daddy - and they are so IN.
:-)
Besides he feeds you all these lovely treats and made you this lovely room with pretty colours.
Me and Charlie draw the line to crocs, though.
Ahem.
:-)
Take care

I think your Daddy is an original! You should be proud of him for not being ashamed to proclaim who he truly is. He rocks!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, it's very nice to meet you all. Thanks for coming by the LOLSpot and saying hello.
Oh your Daddy is absolutely pawsome!

Thank Goodness for Daddy!! Everyone has their one weird thing!
ReplyDeleteTie-dye DOES go with everything! And also it hides all your furz that get on him!
ReplyDeleteIs that what living in the desert does to you? At least you can't lose him.
ReplyDeletefirst of all, holy cod red crocs? They do go with tie dye though.
ReplyDeleteSecond, we have the exact same Mocking bird here! Beep, beep... Do you think we're neighbors?
I think all people dress funny! They are all naked and furless! And they get wet ON PURPOSE to get clean, instead of licking themselves. People are weird. You are lucky though, your daddy and mommy are great! And I am SO jealous of your catio! We have a balcony, but aren't allowed on there, except we sneaked on there the other night MOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting my blog, I had already found yours, and its great! Keep up the wonderful pictures and stories!
-Monty, Lexy, Samson, the bunnies, the rats, and Mommy too
I had respect for your daddy until you mentioned the crocs. I'm thinking one of you - or all of you - should make it your life's work to destroy the crocs.
ReplyDeleteYour daddy sounds like gammy she likes a bit of tie-die too. We love the picture of you in the draw it looks like a great place to hide.
ReplyDeleteWe're guessing, but did yoor daddy choose the background page for yoor blog? 'Cos it looks kinda hippy dippy colourful! Anyways, we agree it's impawtant to love yoor daddy for what he is, not what yoo'd like him to be. MOL!
ReplyDeleteYour daddy sounds awesome! Hey, can we come and live with you?
ReplyDeleteAww your daddy sounds so cool!!!
ReplyDeleteWe love the pic of you hiding in the drawer.
hehe!!!
