Not So Easy Sunday

Kitties!

Rupert here.
It was a terrible morning.

Mommy worked the last half of grave shift so she had to get up at 2 AM.
But that's not the terrible part.

Once again, she left without feeding us!
CC contemplates starvation.

It doesn't matter she gave us a few kibbles for treats.
Sylvester ponders Bread-Licking.

It doesn't matter that we had stinky goodness left in our bowls.
Salem collapses from hunger.

We had to wait until Daddy got up, about 763 hours later, to finally receive nourishment.
Sweet Pea attempts Food Recycling.

Mommy knows the rules...when she gets up, we are fed.  Period.
Mister Emaciated.

Mommy, you are on notice.

Happy Sunday!
We hope you all were fed on time.

XX  Rupert

  6. Good thing Sparkle is calling the ASPCA to report your mom...we had late breakfast today too...I don't care if it's the weekend. I want my breakfast at 5am. Kibble left overnight in a bowl doesn't count!

  7. That is just awful! We're glad the ASPCA is being notified of your predictament by Sparkle and hopefully it never happens again!

  8. Sparkle has the right idea here!

  9. I have never seen so severe a situation of collapsing kitties from starvation. Your Mom must get 13 of those battery operated automatic feeders post haste!

  10. Mister doesn't look emaciated! Well, he looks prosperous! LOL!

  11. You poor starving kitties! Did you try pulling your dad's hair to wake him up to feed you? That is what Melly does (every. single. morning.) and it's very effective.

  12. Awwwww me and Charlie are so so so sorry that you sweet katnip lounge kitties were not fed on time! Oh dear!!! We hope mum won't be on notice for long though - she's too lovely for that!!
    :-)

We hope she does give you extra extra treats though!!!

    Take care

  13. Terrible, terrible!! However did you survive until Daddy got up??? Such brave kittehs!

    ReplyDelete
  14. I feel for you! The rule in my place is - whoever gets up the earliest, feed the kitty.

  15. OMC, that must have been so awful!

13 automatic feeders sounds like a necessity!

    ReplyDelete
  16. OMC! We are sending over food supplies straight away ~ wot was she finking of?

  17. You kitties are too funny! Hopefully mom doesn't forget too often. But I guess if she is going to work that means she will make money to buy you more food right? I think anyone would forget at 2 am to feed kitties! :)

    Have a nice Sunday!

  18. I know just how you feel. When mum gets up several times in the night on call out I look to her for food and she says no in the morning. Whats all that about.. We shall have to rebel me thinks.. Hugs GJ xx

  19. I think she should be reported to someone in charge. FAZ

    ReplyDelete
  20. If you can gather the strength to somehow crawl to the phone, maybe you can dial 911. This is a true emergency!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh my, maybe Mom was sleep walking...she usually doesn't forget your food!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Put her on notice and then do a Review. That should sharpen her up!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Oh noooooos, no food. That is inexcusable. You all sure look very skinny and emaciated. We like Daisy's idea, dial 911 if you can make it to the phone. Good luck all you Lounging cats.

  24. Well Katnippers...all I, Madi, can say is you need to sit the Mom down and have a heart to heart with her...the rules are FIRST ONE up no matter the time, must feed the kitties!!! Period...or there will be demerits.
    Hugs and good luck,
    Madi

  25. As this wasn't the first time this had happened we feel you ought to report her - you could finish up all being massively under weight and being too weak to eat a dusty treat found in a dark corner!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh, NO, sweet and dear friends......we can't have this!!!! What can be done about this?????? Somehow you need to put your mama on notice that such action is NOT going to happen ever again...without HUGE ramifications!!!!!!!!

If we had known, we would have emailed you some of our food....our bowls seem to always be full.

Love to all of you.....even your mama, although she needs to remember to feed ya before she leaves.....getting up in the middle of the night to go to work is NO EXCUSE for not feeding you darlings!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh, you poor, starving kitties=you are welcome to come by and we'll share our foods with you!...Time to retrain Mommy=sounds like she is slacking on her kitchen duties!!...Hope you all enjoy a restful Sunday with her when she gets home...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

  28. Disgraceful. Absolutely disgraceful.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Now friends, may we suggest blocking the exits next time so your Mom has to feed you before she leaves the house? You have the numbers! The humans are no match for all of you!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh the things you poor desperate babies had to consider, including food recycling!!!!
Our mom is pretty strict about feeding times too, especially if we try to rouse her too early(according to her) in the morning.

    ReplyDelete
  31. "Sweet Pea attempts food recycling." OMC! MOL! Too funny!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh gosh, what a day there!
Here it's fine, mommy was taking a loooong nap but she has already put my treats here.
I wish you all a nice week, please positivism okay! hehehe

  33. Honestly. I can't imagine what she was thinking!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. This is shocking! I hope you all remember this day when it comes time for her annual salary negotiations. Such neglect of duty cannot be swept under the carpet, you know. Salem might have actually starved to death, or at least had her juicy little legs reduced to mere spindles. I am speechless.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I can feel your hunger from here! How could she do that? I think it's time to sit her down to remind her of her duties.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Holy carp kitties, dis is an akshonabul offense! We don't know what dat means but it's what mom sez when another bein does something bad. We say punish her by not loving on her and ignoring her, dat always makes our mom think about what she did wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yes, this is a big problem. If I could dial a phone number, I'd report your mom and mine. Mine has been getting up later than usual in the morning. I groom and groom myself, shaking the bed, but she doesn't get up.

I can really relate to Johnson. That's how emaciated I get too. Everyone is collapsing over there. It's terrible!

    ReplyDelete
  38. What a scary time! Obviously next time she has to get up earilier to make sure your needs are met! You all look so weak!

You left one comment to win the kitty collars on PBU, but you also can leave another comment for another entry because you're a follower of the blog!

  39. Poor babies!!! What in the world was she thinking?? Stinky goodness, kibbles, and butt-recycling is not enough. I think a call to the authorities is in order...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Oh now, that is just terrible. We get the same problems at the weekend when all the hoomas lay in. They say they have no work, so its their treat. Ahem, they have us and we is hard work. I got attack their feet when i'm on the verge of starvation and that usually does the trip prrrrr

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm not sure why, but the Woman LOL'd reading the story of your utter tragedy... Man, she's mean.

    ReplyDelete
  42. We hope you are all fed and napping comfortably now. Our mom knows exactly how your Mommy feels about Wally World. Our mom avoids it for as long as she can, but the KMart here is totally craptastic, so Walmart is almost necessary about every couple of months or so.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thats some serios Kitty Kruelty goin on there. You poor guys all look STARVED! Moms in trouble fer sure...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Does your mom know her Christmas present is in serious jeopardy because of her neglect of all of you. It will take days to fill those little bellehs up again!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Go kitties. I want the Mom to get up in the wee hours to be fed too, but she just puts me out and closes the door. I feel for you.
    Kassey

  46. Yikes! 2am is not a good time to go to work. How are you supposed to wake her up at 3am if she isn't there? We have our mum trained right. When she gets up she feeds us first, then the horses and then she can get hers and dad's breakfast.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Uh oh!! We hope somecat doesn't report your mom's failure to Santa Paws...she might be getting a lump of coal in her stocking.

    ReplyDelete
  48. You guys musta been starving!!!!! We know how you feel - Pop forgot (well almost) to feed us whitesters when Mom went to work one night. He almost went out to visit a friend and THEN he remembered!!!! Hours later than Mom feeds us! We need to revolt!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh noes, we can see you wasting away before our very eyes! We usually are o.k. with whatever time Meowmy serves us breakfast, but sometimes we don't get our supper until 8 or 9 p.m. or even later if she's out somewhere...that's very hard on us, because then we have to cram all the evening-begging-for-treats into such a short time period!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Rupert darling. I wasn't feeling too well so I didn't get here to see your handsome self. But then, you gathered the Cat Spa things and came over to make me forget the cranky pants, so, I got to make it up to you. ME-OW!
