Kitties!
The Baby here.
Daddy built a new raised garden last summer, and this year he's gonna put KATNIP plants in it!
The nip in the yard gets heat stress, but this corner is shaded from the hot afternoon sun.
There's all kinds of wonderful soil and compost and amendments in the garden.
Daddy even got worms for it!
When it rained so much last month we had some fat juicy suicide worms crawl into the Catio.
Good Times.
Johnny is looking forward to the fresh nip.
His face is healing up very nicely, he has two little scabs and his fur is growing in already.
And Felix would like y'all to purr and purr for his Gal, Annie the Crabby Tabby from Fuzzy Tales.
She's been very ill and had to spend the night at the vet.
We are all quite worried and purring in shifts for her to get better.
Get well soon, my Special Girl!
My Evil Nemesis, the HummerBird, is HERE today!

NIp plants are fantastic - ours are under 15cm of snow but Äiti says she will start some off inside this spring. So they only ever get one growing season here unfortunately. But they are very popular :) We hope you can resist the temptation and leave to grow and grow and then they get even nicer :)
ReplyDeleteWe're really worried about Annie too and are sending her purrs and purrs. Paws are crossed.
Sounds like it's gonna be an awesome garden! I'm glad Johnny's face is healing up! Poor guy.

ReplyDeleteHi Baby, your garden looks like it will be fantastic this summer, the raised bed is very nice! Since you are the only one of the lounge kitties who goes outside, you will have to harvest the nip and bring it in for the others and not eat it all yourself - LOL!
