Kitties!
Like all of you, we LOVE to eat. After Grayce had her bladder surgery, Mommy switched from feeding us kibble to an all wet food diet. Then KonaKitty went on a hunger strike, and she got far too thin. So Mommy started feeding her kibble separately in the bathroom. Since Kona's a nibbler, she asked to go into the bathroom 56395637 times a day...and we all swarmed after her, raising a ruckus. Naturally, we got a little kibble, too.
This drove Daddy crazypants.
He works from home and we were such insistent beggars asking so often for kibble that he avoided going down the hall to prevent stampedes! Finally, one day he'd had enough. He went to the store and bought two kibble feeders and a big bag of food. We were in heaven! We ate and ate and ate and eventually several of us barfed. (You know how that goes.) After a couple of days, we were back to eating mostly wet food and nibbling on the dry to fill in those nagging hungrumbly corners. (You know how those are.)
Grayce, hurry up!
*mumblewaityourturncrunchcrunchcrunch*
Finally!
Mommy worried about us eating kibble, with all the grains and additives and inferior ingredients that's in most of it, but she didn't want Kona to waste away, either. Or Daddy to go off the deep end. So we got to keep our tower feeders.
Then, one day, we were reading the Responsible Pet Ownership blog, and we saw they had a newsletter--and if we signed up, we'd have a chance to win six months of free cat food from FELIDAE. Guess what? We signed up, and we WON!!! We received vouchers for ninety pounds of kibble and Daddy filled up both our towers.
Kitties, this stuff is DELICIOUS!
We are eating the Pure Elements formula, and we love it. Not one of us has barfed it up, and after a month our coats are looking nice and glossy. Mommy is very pleased because we're getting quality nutrition.
And we're happy too, because Mommy says this is what we'll be eating for dry food from now on.
And you can eat it for free, too...go visit the blog and sign up for a chance to win, woofies included!
Say, is it suppertime yet?
Happy Monday!

WOW! What an amazing prize and I can't think of a crew of kitties who deserve it more!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you!
Is that food a limited ingredient type of food?
You won 6 months food for ALL of you ?!?!?! We are so jealous. Äiti is so green with envy. You lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky kitties.
ReplyDeleteHow much will you weigh at the end of 6 months?!
Yay! Winnin food is so awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteConcatulations on winning all that food! The Woman laughed and said I am so finicky she could never try and win something unless it was what I already ate. And I think that is grand--after all that way I get what I want, don't I?
ReplyDeleteHow pawsome is that you won all those delicious kibbles! We think we need that food dispenser too! MOL.
ReplyDeleteNow, see, THAT'S the kind of kibble dish I need! The Human's going to go check out that brand of fudz. She started buying me Wellness and Royal Canin and Science Diet and she mixes the three together. It took her awhile to wean me off the O.N.E. & the Friskies dry stuff, but I guess I am used to the new stuff now. I don't know why she needs to investigate something ELSE though. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting that you guys started out overdoing it when you got hte tower feeders but then slowed down. And that new fudz sounds like great nutrition. We understand here about some kitties having to eat in the bathroom!
ReplyDeleteWhat a coincidence - my human just came home with some of that Felidae Pure Elements in hope that I will eat some of it, since I am picky, too thin, and reject 90% of everything she gives me, wet or dry (the other two cats are pigs, they will eat any slop put in front of them, including the tasteless, boring grain-free canned stuff that's their daily fare). Hopefully this will work because my human is starting to go off the deep end, trying to keep up with my food demands.
ReplyDeleteFood gloreeus food...not dat any of us ever go hungry but a prize like dat sure would help mommy out. She keeps grumbling about how expensive it is to fee us and how spoiled we all are...hey, we resemble dat remark. Heehee
ReplyDeleteFood glorious food! I love your food towers. We are currently on Blackwood (it's imported from your country), makes Mama happy coz there's less vomiting like when how we were on a supermarket brand previously. purrr meow!
ReplyDeleteLucky kittehz, that is pawsome! Concats! Mommy doesn't think she has heard of this, so we are gonna check it out. Thanks fur sharing. Happy Monday. xoxo
ReplyDeleteMOL your house is as nuts as ours! We're so glad you won those kibbles; it's only what you deserve.
ReplyDeleteGuido has a dicky tummy. We thought it might be biscuits but it's probably not, then we though tuna, but probably not, and as the poop test was clear for known bugs etc we're trying retromad. Wish us luck!
That is an awesome kibble dish!
ReplyDeleteThose towers look impressive! As I'm still not absolutely sure what kibble is, I'll have to go google. Austin eats an all-in-one dry food from the grocery store, with some soft food in evening for moisture. He is VERY picky!
ReplyDeleteYou lucky kitties, well done for winning, you deserve it!! Sookie and Darcy are most jealous as they are now on rations after poor Darcy was told by the vet that he was fat (for the vets information it's FLOOF!!). =^..^=
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wow!!! Kitties of Katnip Lounge!! You have the BESTEST mum and dad - both so creative and lovely and wonderful!! Yay!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your big tubs of natural and yummy kibbles - me and Charlie are so thrilled for all of you!!
Take care
x
Wow, that's fabulous! Concats on winning all the dry! We'd eat almost any kibble...okay, ANY kibble, the mom gave us. We LOVE kibble, but we get a paltry 1/4 cup per day, with the rest canned. She had tried for some time to limit us to 1/8 cup kibble per day (each), but we were driving her crazy for food. :-P
ReplyDeleteOMC ! OMC ! Those towers feeder is Heaven !!!!! Look like All you can eat ! I love love it !!!! But I'm sure mom never get me that's one...Shame on mom !
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for my self, I miss a lots of good staff for free, just because I live in Australia. Even some friends tried to send me treats, but it was end up in the Mouth of Custom's woofies. We should move there !
Mom said Mr. Johnny is very gentle mancat : )...Ladycat first !
xoxo
90 pounds?! Wowiekazowie! That's huge!
ReplyDeleteWe're all over the place with our foods at the moment, now that Fui is on his limited ingredient diet that me and Suey wont eat. It's driving our mum crazypants, so we can certainly understand your dad's frustration!
WOW! that is a great prize for a great family!!! I am so happy for you!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just switched my cat to all canned diet also and have been wondering what canned food you feed your cats. MAN are you lucky to win this!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful. I loved the commentary.
ReplyDeleteWe are struggling with feedings since Hugo is here for awhile and diabetic. Today I pick up more of his food and I'll be buying some ORIJEN dry because it apparently is very low in carbs and if he does get hungry he can snack a little. I only put out a smidgen at a time. It's like a vet's office around here since Hugo gets readings and shots and Kanes' feet are being watched and pills given. Whew!
Our vet would like to see me on all wet food too, but she also said it's very hard to get a kitty off dry food when that is what they are used to. So, I get quite a bit of wet food with about a half a cup of kibble spread out throughout the day. I was getting barfsides tho until vet suggested d/d dry food (perscription diet by Hills). So no more barfsides, plus now I get wet and dry.
ReplyDeleteWe have an internet furriend that has a lot ..like 30 something.. cats and they eat this food and love it.
ReplyDeleteWe will register for some, thanks! and Congratulations!!!!
~ The Bunch
We saw that you won all that food! Congratulations! Feladae is good stuff!!
ReplyDeleteHooray to you for winning all that yummy food! Congratulations kitties! xo Catherine
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of kibble!
ReplyDeleteOMC! We LOVE those tower feeders! And concats on a wonderful prize!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great prize you won - we're glad you all love your kibble from the towers.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Wow look at your towers of food, I think I would be in heaven!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but reading this post made me hungry.
ReplyDeleteWe can just picture the stampede down the hall every time Daddy got up and headed in that directon!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so great you guys won!!!
Congrats on the win! Mom tried to feed us just twice a day and we hated it so she leaves out dry food for us nibblers. We get Chicken Soup for the Cat Lovers Soul - good stuff and not too pricey!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That's a lot of food for your household. There's no way we could do the twice a day thing in our household. A few of the cats are demon eaters and would eat the other cats' portions. So instead we leave kibble out all the time. The ones who need special diets get fed separately.
ReplyDeleteI will have to check that out fur sure, we all love food here!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the win and getting better quality kibble. We know how complicated the feeding thing is dealing with individual needs. It's enough to drive any human crazypants!
ReplyDeleteYup, we have tried that food and it is good stuff. Conga rats on winning that food. Glad everyone likes it and you got your dry food back. We loves our dry food too. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThat is so great that you guys won all that food!! I'm going over there right now to check it out and enter their contest.
ReplyDeleteI work from home too and I know all about being driven crazypants by these beggars.
Thanks so much for the offer of some of your items for an auction. I'm definitely going to look into how to an auction.
Hope all you guys are enjoying your day!
Concats on winning alla dat food! It sounds like it is a good one for you! I love your food tower.
ReplyDeletetesla had to be on a special diet because she gets crystals- but it's a kibble diet, from the vets. Because she doesn't like eating all wet food all the time (and lets face it- it's expensive!) so , hansel has to eat it too. Because it's just too hard having everyone on different foods. BUT we would LOVE a kibble tower like that! but then we'd get too large and mom worries about diabetes! (can't afford that either!)
ReplyDeleteBless your Daddy's little heart. He's a softie!
ReplyDeleteWow!! That's a lot of kibble to win. You guys deserve it for sure.
I worry about all the things in our dry food too. We tried wellness and they turned up their noses at it.
They're like little kids if it's got a fruit or vegetable in it they refuse to eat it.
Happy Monday!
OMC, we can't let Tinker see this post and those towers. Mommy knows how keeping on diets is extremely hard but for Tinker it is serious he only get wet food. We have to lock the pantry doors or he will pry them opened for dry food!! There are tons of teeth marks on the dry kitten food bag because someone did not lock the door after getting out human food.....we like that human, unfortunately Mom is always on watch for the slackers!=^Y^=
ReplyDeleteWow, thats good info...mom is gonna upgrade to 7 cats next month and we are all gonna have to eat the same food so we'll go check it out!
ReplyDeleteI was so happy that you won the FELIDAE food from the RPO blog, and even more delighted that the Horde loves it!! Thank you for giving the RPO blog a plug. We welcome ALL kitties and doggies to subscribe!
ReplyDeleteOh...and the Pure Elements is a great choice! My cats eat this formula as well as the other Felidae grain free formula, Pure Sea with salmon. I'm told it's yummy though I've never been tempted to sample it myself, MOL.
ReplyDeleteThat's alotta kibble! Congratulations, guys!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Not only do you have food towers, you have food towers filled with Felidae! You are surely in kitty heaven! :)
ReplyDeleteConcats on winning the giveaway!
Concatulations on winning all that food! That's pawsome! Those food towers are pawsome too! Your Daddy is the bestest!
ReplyDeleteWow, 6 months of free food! Congratulations on winning it. I've never looked into Felidae, but I will!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you lot, will you share with me? I'm wasting away over here! The kittens are stealing all of my foods and you got loads! I guess that you have to be in the US to sign up for their competition then?
ReplyDeleteVERY interesting! I will head over there and I remember sweet Kona Kitty when she lost her weight. I am so glad everyone is getting some dry fuds and that the quality is good for all you babies.
ReplyDeletexxoo
Your Dad buys food towers and your Mom wins good food!! Purrfect :)
ReplyDeleteWe purr that keeps everycat and Dad happy for a long while ;) heehee
Purrs Tillie and Georgia
Of all our furriends in the whole world, we can't think of a family who will put that cat food to better use that you! I mean...like 6 months of cat food to anyone else is like...uh 3 months at your place?
ReplyDeleteConcats on winning!
We laughed and laughed about you guys eating and eating then barfing up! We do that here too and it just drives our Cat Daddy all crazy pants! Especially when Piewhackits goes to try and eat the barf before he can get it cleaned up! Yup, he gets ALL crazy pants! We think it's sooooo funny ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe glad you guys won the food! We'll go check them out!
Whoa, what a great thing to win! That food looks really good - I may have to try it out after my current stock of Nature's Variety runs out. Thanks for the rec!
ReplyDeleteWe have some kibble gobblers here and this looks like a good healthy idea..I just checked the link and this is available up here in Canada. (Thanks...just one of many good ideas I have found at the K Lounge!)
