Kicking off the Weekend On Wednesday

Kitties!

Mommy works weekends, and has Wednesdays and Thursdays off.
Merely another facet of our crazypants lifestyle.
When Mommy got home from The Salt Mines yesterday she was ready for a little family time with us and Daddy in his office.

Johnny was confused and stared at the wall.
He's not the sharpest tack in the box, if you know what we mean.

Rupert had a good chuckle over that!

Johnny didn't mind.
Or notice, bless his little heart.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. We always enjoy your pictures and posts so much. Johnny looks like our Snookums in the last picture. We are sorry your mom has to work at the salt mines and can't be with you all the time...give her lots of snuggles when she gets home after working so hard, okay? Hugs and nose kisses

  2. If there were a real genie in our house right now, my Human would use up one of her three wishes to be able to pick up Johnny and just bury her whole face in his glorious furs.

Frankly, that makes me a little jealous.

  3. Yep, Johnny and Boodie DO have a lot in common! BTW, where were the other seven cats?

  4. Oh, Johnny, you adorable floofball. It all went "over your head" didn't it?

I bet your Mommy finds good things about being off 2 days during the week. Like being able to go shopping when the stores are quieter, and arranging for appointments and etc etc etc. Does Daddy shift his workdays around to match, or is he a 7 day a week workaholic?

  50. RUPERT! You are certainly NOT a rake! In no WAY are you like that. You are dignified and stately!

  51. Johnny, we think you're pretty funny.

  52. Johnny, its ok! You can be sweet and dumb too. Ask our mom about her cat who came before, Attila. She always said it was too much flea powder as a kitten. Either way, he was a sweetie and we think you are too.
