Friends and Kitties!
Where do I start?
My Mom is awesome. She taught me how to bake, cook, do needlework, sew, garden, keep house. She kept me stocked with art supplies, instruments, and activities. She was (is)
an excellent role model, a feminist before it was fashionable.
She put up with my incredibly arrogant teen years.
She took me to the library--a seminal moment in my life.
Making Christmas Cookies--OMG they are good! |
She loves me.
Mom, thanks for every little thing.
I love you too.
Happy Sunday Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers Day! Your mom sounds awesome. My human had longstanding issues with her mother and she is gone now, so Mothers Day is like any other old day to her. I am embarrassed to admit I missed my human's day - Administrative Assistants Day was last month.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice post, Trish! Happy Mother's Day to you and your Mom. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeletePurrrrr.......
ReplyDeleteMy Human's Mom has been gone for almost 30 years (she died when the Human was 32, so you can tell the Human is older than dirt), but she was a wonderful Mom, too. She taught her to cook and bake and draw and garden and most of all to LOVE reading! Since the Human became an English teacher, that really did have quite a long-lasting impact!
ReplyDeleteI don't really remember my mama very much, but I think she taked real good care of me for as long as she had me, which was only about 8 weeks.
Happy Mother's Day to all moms of kids and kitties!
Happy Mother's Day to yous guys Mommy and her Mommy too!

Wishing a very happy Mother's Day to all the Moms reading this. My human Mom's story is similar to Spitty's Mom's. Her mother died 34 years ago. However she lied long enough to become a grandmother, and no my Mom gets to spend her Mother's day with her daughter and her granddaughter! Very very special!!
