I'm pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfie Blog Hop because today (in the USA) is Mother's Day...and if there's one person I *love*Love*LOVE*, that's My Mommy!

I missed her something fierce when she went away.  Daddy is an adequate substitute for pettings and play, but come bedtime it's My Mommy I want.  Once she's in bed I sprawl out on her chesticles...and I know she loves me 'cos she doesn't grumble much while she holds her book (or magazine or tablet) straight up in the air so I can be cozy.  I get kisses and cuddles and we snuggle together all night long.

Mommy calls me her Most Handsome Gray Man in the House.

That's pretty special!

An excellent role model.

Courageous.

Ground-breaking.

Funny.

Creative.

My best teacher, ever.

Generous.

Loving, even to a spiny sea urchin like me.

I'm pretty damn happy with how I turned out...thanks, Mom!

Where do I start?

My Mom is awesome.  She taught me how to bake, cook, do needlework, sew, garden, keep house.  She kept me stocked with art supplies, instruments, and activities.  She was (is)

 an excellent role model, a feminist before it was fashionable. 

 She put up with my incredibly arrogant teen years.

She took me to the library--a seminal moment in my life.

Making Christmas Cookies--OMG they are good!

She loves me.

Mom, thanks for every little thing.

I love you too.

Hello Kitties!

Nothing much special going on today...

except...

It's Mother's Day here in the USA!

Hurrah for our Mommy, our MamaCats, and all the other Moms all over the whole, wide world!

Remember...

If it wasn't for a Mom, you wouldn't be here!

So...

We are going to snuggle up, purr, and say:

"I Love You Mommy"

We may even refrain from bad behavior today!

(Then again, maybe not.)
