Kitties!
The Baby, a.k.a. Filthy Dirty Whitey (FDW), here.
I'm sun-basking in my favorite spot behind the arborvitae. Every morning I endlessly pester kindly allow Daddy to escort me outside to pee in the soil of Nevada (me, not him!), sniff all the plants, (me again) eat weeds (Daddy abstains) and saunter on down the walk (closely followed by Daddy). Once we reach the far corner, I head up into the raised bed and settle in for a tiny rest whilst Daddy sits on the garden bench, on hawk patrol.
Naturally I get debris all over me, hence the cunning sobriquet FDW.
heh heh
I usually like to bring some if not all of my collected filth indoors to deposit any and everywhere I can, but this particular morning something was poking me.
It was this pesky little piece of mulch.
Holy Carp!
That dang Daddy...
Happy Monday!

staying white is not easy, but you doin it just right!
ReplyDeleteMes LOVES dirty! And Getting dirty and spreading dirty!

We have just recently discovered "getting dirty" on our catio. Why hadn't we heard of this fun before? It is SO much fun to watch the human run around behind us wiping up and swearing. MOL!
ReplyDeleteThe Baby, you knows I loves you best when you are FD. It's sort of exciting to see you getting all F and even cleaning up. This is the stuff of my Dreams, you know.
ReplyDeleteYou must be the envy of all other kitties!
ReplyDeleteThe Farm cats just love to roll around in the dirt. Goat poop and all....
ReplyDeleteWe got a little nervous when we got to the bit about your Daddy being on hawk patrol. *shudder*
ReplyDeleteSo hurry on up, paint up your furs and get back indoors!
I KNEW this was not going to end without a cello shot!
ReplyDeleteDirty girl! MOL
ReplyDeleteStay in white is hard.
ReplyDeleteBut I think you are doing just fine.
Awww The Baby!!! It's all natural so it's all good! Yay! take care
ReplyDeletex
White is so hard to keep clean! LOL Have a great day kitties. :)
ReplyDeleteAt least you had fun before you got poked ;-)
ReplyDeleteHopefully you were still able to bring some outside inside.
~Brooch Czarina
It must be quite a task to keep that beautiful, white fur clean from all that mulch!
ReplyDeleteThat mulch is good for scratching kitty backs...or so Hobbes tells me. Problem is, it is a bugger to get off ya.
ReplyDeleteNice that Daddeh takes you out there to enjoy the mulch. :)
WOW, it's a lot of work being a white kitty and staying white!
ReplyDeleteTry and train your Daddy to take some clean white hankies with him when he goes with you on your morning walk. They would be excellent to keep you spotlessly white while allowing you to collect debris to scatter indoors.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Hahahah!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week!
FTW, if you should ever come for a visit to the Swamp I can promise you endless Tall Georgia Pine needles. They are almost as long as a cat! Grayson's furs are especially formulated to have the needles stick REAL good!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice bath, honey pie!
But, of course, getting white fur dirty is so much fun! We are glad your daddy goes on hawk patrol for you :)

MOL! We loved this! And thanks for being so specific! Purrs...
ReplyDeleteWell that is very nice that you and the Daddy go outside for some time together. Glad he isn't nibbling on the bushes or anything else. Have a fantastic day.
ReplyDeleteI am quite sure if my white tummy got dirt on it I would be doing all kinds of dance moves to get it off.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your BFFF
You wild, dirty girl=we bet the mancats love that about you, beautiful!hehe...Happy Monday and enjoy the week ahead, darling friends...kisses...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteIt ain't easy being white, is it, The Baby? :)
ReplyDeleteMeowm still adores FDW, no matter how dirty or clean. We wish we could roll in some dirt!
ReplyDeleteMeowm says her bite spot is that wonderful yellowish green that a bruise gets when it is going away. The spot is till a bit swollen, but no red marks still. She did put some more medicines on it yesterday and kept it covered last night to be safe.
Nothing quite like rolling in a bit of dirt and taking it inside is even better.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteVery considerate of you Baby...to bring the debris indoors. It's always nice to share a bit of dirt with friends, we say.
ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
You still look glowing white to us and how lucky you are to get a very special walk with your Daddy=^Y^=
ReplyDeleteWe hope soon it will be nice enough for us to venture outside. Dang snow.
ReplyDeleteSnow snow go away
We hate you more, everyday.
being white is high maintenance :) especially if you like to roll in dirt, er mulch.
ReplyDeleteemm and buster
baby, you have a very well trained Dad. You assimilated him so he would comply didn't you ;) heeheehee
ReplyDeletePurrs Tillie and Georgia,
Treasure,Tiger,JJ and Julie
It is hard to be white...or..is that hard to be good???
ReplyDeleteCats of wildcat woods
I guess I should go outside. Since I am gray it wouldn't even show!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good roll in the mulch.
ReplyDeleteEven after your foray into the yard, your furs are pristine. Now, we like to roll and wallow in the dirt and then bring that in the house. Then roll around on the bed and rug. Your yard looks like a nice refuge. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeleteDaddy should use some softer the Baby approved mulch for plants to really enjoy a roll around.
ReplyDeletei wish i had a nickel for everytime i've peed in the sands of nevada
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing quite as good as peeing in real soil in the morning... except maybe waking up the humans!
ReplyDeletePurrs
I love your pretty furs and to have such a nice week....*sigh"*.....and I love you calling my Uncle MaxMaxx Mister I.P...which is so true...:)
ReplyDeleteNoir
Staying white is hard work. I should know... =)
ReplyDeleteShoot! We kinda were hoping a very brave George was poking you!
ReplyDeleteAlways the flashy box, invading our privacy.
ReplyDeleteOMC! whew! I thought you were outside all by yourself Baby. Glad Dad is nearby...and good thing you found that sticker and could get it off...I hope you took the rest of your collection inside with you...hehe
