Kitties!
The Mommy here.
The Filthy Dirty Baby LOVES to explore the corner kitchen cupboard. Oftentimes I'll be puttering in the kitchen when I hear bumps and thumps emanating from within and sure enough, out pops Bibbles! Only she and Maui know how to open doors, so I'm sure she goes in there for a nice private nap. (He snoozes in there, too.)
You'll notice some scabs and schmutz on The Baby's nose--we think she was biting electrical cords (again) and got zapped (again). *sigh* Time to buy new cord covers!
Anyway, here's what I saw the other evening:
*rustle rustle rustle*

Just minding my own business, inspecting the cupboard here...
YIKES!!!
Mommy, you very nearly scared the fur pants offa me.
How long have you been there, sneakily watching me?
I need some pets after such a traumatic encounter.
Some treats would be nice, too.
Happy Tuesday!

Ooooh, Filthy Dirty Baby! ::shiver:: How I long to share your cupboard, my love.....
ReplyDeleteWe never got to be in the cupboards until Princeton came along and opened up a whole new world fur us to explore!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, kittehz!
sdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd - that last part was from Prancer Pie.
CUpboards here are out of paw reach and dull. The good ones are up high.
ReplyDeleteWe are worried about the zappy mark. We hope it heals soon.
Funny enough, the kitty here who opens cupboards is Boodie... and she is supposedly the "dumb" one of us three!
ReplyDeleteAre you looking for treats in there? Do you hide toys in there?
ReplyDeleteMy Siamese of many years ago used to open cabinet doors. Thank goodness none of my cats since then have figured it out!
Treats are ALWAYS nice
ReplyDeleteYou got zapped by electrical cords? OUCH!
ReplyDeleteNone of us have figured out how to open cabinet doors and for that, Mommy is thankful.
There's a hole underneath our kitchen cupboard that leads to the mismatched tupperwear cupboard. We love to explore in there, but it's getting too full.
ReplyDeleteThe Paw Relations
You can open cabinet doors? You've got to teach us that trick. That's where the treats are and we would love to get in.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Cindi Lou & The Kitty Krew
I see NOTHING. Nothing at all.
ReplyDeleteOnly two of you can open cabinets? Our cabinets are mostly so full we can't fit inside them, but the pantry... the peeps had to bar the door to the pantry, because we would otherwise help ourselves.
ReplyDeleteEating wires not good. :) Looks like a great place to hide.
ReplyDeletebibbles... a word to the wise... cupboards = good. electrical wires = no good. that is all.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to show Fleur (our cable chewer)your zaps and tell her that Canadian electricity is stronger!

some shocking information in this post.
ReplyDeleteOh you bad Dirty Filthy Baby! We are shocked about your shocking experiences with those evil cords! Stay safe sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteWe think Mum has got alarms on our cupboard doors!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Hey, you never know when those cabinet gremlins are going to pop out.. you need to keep a good eye on them to make sure they don't become a problem.
ReplyDeleteLOL, Benny knows how to open cabinets too, though he usually opens then, sniffs, then walks away. Nice to you to explore the goods inside!
ReplyDeleteBABY I BET YOU WERE LOOKING FOR A PLACE WHERE JOHNNY COULD NOT FIND YOU.
ReplyDeleteHUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
LOL The Baby, that looks fun place to explore! Goro tries to open these doors, but he hasn't been able to open so far (and hopefully will not!)You are one adventurous, and strong kitty!
ReplyDeletewe love cupboards too, but ours are cat proof hehehe; sometimes when the humans leave the doors ajar we go in and inspect what's hiding behind those doors we couldn't open.

ReplyDeleteWe hope you got extra treats Baby!
ReplyDeleteYou need a bed in there The Baby so you don't have to walk around all that kitchen clutter to find a comfy place to lay!
ReplyDeleteSweet Baby we're sorry you have a nose booboo, hope it didn't hurt too much. Our Casper is a big cord chewer also, we don't find that the covers stop him either :-(
ReplyDeleteglad the cabinet inspector is on the job..... Mo can't open cabinets doors but he does like to stand around and make them bang :)
ReplyDeleteThe Baby...you are just gorgeous. xoxox
ReplyDeleteOh that looks like fun. May I join you.
ReplyDeleteCharlie has been known to explore a cabinet and get shut in there until I hear banging!! He is a snoopity snoop too!
ReplyDeleteChewing the electrical cords!! Getting zapped?!! Does this mean you are giving yourself self prescribed shock treatment Baby? Is that what living with all of THEM has come to?!!! Heeheehee :p
ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
OMC if Cody could fit in mine he would do that too! Cody counter surfs when every one has gone to bed (or so he thinks!)
ReplyDeleteMOL! Caught in the act, The Baby!
ReplyDeleteI used to get into cabinets all the time too! Me-Ommmmmm
ReplyDeleteShe's a naughty gal. What's with the chewing on the wires???! Criminy.
ReplyDeleteWe think the Baby had planned to pull a little Hall-o-ween prank on you by darting out of the cupboard when you weren't looking. As it turned out to be the other way around, the Baby probably does deserve a few treats. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteBaby, we always love ta see you. We just DONT see pure white cats very often... TBT tells us they used to be quite common. We blame global sooting...
ReplyDeleteBoy, that The Baby is trouble! We had a kitty who could open doors too - regular doors, sliding doors, folding doors, he could open them all. How annoying!
ReplyDeleteI´m to lazy to open any doors I just sit and miaow until my mom-person comes and opens it for me :)
ReplyDeleteI´m to lazy to open any doors I just sit and miaow until my mom-person comes and opens it for me :)
ReplyDeleteIt must be quite unsettling to be quietly going about your snoopervising to suddenly find you are being spied on.
ReplyDeleteOMC Baby, that looks like a pawsome place to nap, MOL
ReplyDeleteSilly mom scaring you like that! Our mom says you look as shocked as if you'd been shocked.
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
What a great snooper.
ReplyDeleteDad puts some of that red pepper on things he doesnt not want us to nibble
