Birdy by the Catio!

Kitties!

CC  here.
I was posing for Mommy on the cat tree when I spotted a BIG FAT pigeon in the courtyard.

He needed further investigation.

Outta my way Mommy, I'm a Mancat with a mission!

*chitter chitter chitter*
(translation from the Pigeonese: please come in mister flying feathered feast--I want eat you!)

Rats!
Apparently my accent is bad, he flew away. Or maybe it's not...

Happy Thursday!

  1. We suffer the same issues here. There are birdies around our garden, but are they friendly to us ? No! We try, we try to speak birdie...... And CC you look very handsome in that sunlight

  2. The Human says the other day somekitty that lives around school left a pigeon "gift" on the grass in the courtyard. Oh my. It was *quite* a sight. I don't think the Human was properly appreciative of the skill & determination it takes to bring down a big fat slow pigeon!

  3. At least you do not have a force field preventing clear communication with the pigeon. CC you can take more cat-to-pigeon classes and try again.

  4. Tell the humans to cook you up a Cornish game hen. Sheesh

  12. The robins are back... walking all over the Swamp, begging for Gandalf to catch them. So far he has failed miserably.

    Carry on then, CC.

  21. CC I expect your accent is a bit like mum's when she tries to speak Welsh!! The natives either laugh or run away!!

  23. I love the chittering but it's never fools any birds because they know it's the sound of crunch, yum yum birdie.

  24. Funny CC. Next time invite him in for lunch, and he will think you are going to give him some bird seed. And then….lunch is served (for you). MOL! Sometimes birdies actually get on our catio through this very small space above the screen door to the yard. We've never caught one of those. Phooey. 25. Bugger...you lost him. :(

I came home to find a huge hawk sitting on my shed...and the remnants of his dinner below him. Left me a ring of feathers and a leg. Blech. I need you to come over and help me get rid of that guy!
