FLEDGLING Friday!

Kitties!

The snax with toothpicks baby hummingbirds have gotten their feathers!
Look at how much larger they are after just one week...it's amazing.

Pretty soon they'll be just the right size for an amuse bouche...

...OK, OK,  we're kidding...these birdies ain't for eatin'.

*sigh*

Besides, who wants to consume something that poops, All.  The.  Time.
!!!

Happy Friday!

  2. The poops must be some natural defence against predators. There certainly is a growing moat of them. But we think soon they will be bursting out of the nest - they look pretty tight in there already. Drool.

  10. Those little ones would barely be a snack, let alone make a whole meal. Best let them grow up, then maybe they will come back again next year and make more baby birds for your viewing pleasure!
