The Cat Daze of Summer

Kitties!

Johnny here.
It's that time of the summer that some people mistakenly call the Dog Days.

I beg to differ!

These nice long hot days are tailor-made for kitties; lazing about, and napping, and daydreaming, and snoozing, and airing out the tummy furs, and...well...you get the general idea--the stuff at which we Cats excel.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some urgent relaxamicating to do...I wouldn't want to be accused of slacking!

Happy Monday!

  10. We think they call it dog days of summer because only dogs are silly enough to go running around in this heat. We kitties know that melting into catpuddles is best when it gets so hot!

  26. It's called the Dog Days of Summer because the dog star, Sirius, is highest in the sky.

    Well....that's what I heard anyway.

We are lucky it hasn't been that hot here this summer. And the grass has been really cool to lay on. Hobbes has been in heaven.
