Kitties!
Johnny here.
It's that time of the summer that some people mistakenly call the Dog Days.
I beg to differ!
These nice long hot days are tailor-made for kitties; lazing about, and napping, and daydreaming, and snoozing, and airing out the tummy furs, and...well...you get the general idea--the stuff at which we Cats excel.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some urgent relaxamicating to do...I wouldn't want to be accused of slacking!
Happy Monday!
XX Tiny Johnson XX
Geez, Buddy, did you even *get* a summer cut this year? Cause all those furs is BACK! You needs to git nekkid again ;-)
ReplyDeletetis the season for sunpuddles..
ReplyDeleteIt all looks a bit hot and bothersome there - but we must say, those tummy furs are impeccable.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing as Spitty
ReplyDeleteWe love seeing you catio kats relaxamicating but we miss the rain. It's too hot here.
ReplyDeleteI don't think ANYBODY could accuse YOU of being a slacker, TJ!
ReplyDeleteWe were thinking you might need a little trim here and there to stay cooler, too. Efurrybody likes a neat and tidy Johnson. >>snort<<
ReplyDeleteYup, it are a pawsome time for kitties!
ReplyDeleteJohnny you are so right. Buster was snoozing 18 hours today.
ReplyDeleteemma and buster
Well, we agree that it IS hard ta get TOO warm in most places under normal situations.
ReplyDeleteWe think they call it dog days of summer because only dogs are silly enough to go running around in this heat. We kitties know that melting into catpuddles is best when it gets so hot!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great, Johnny. We have had mostly rain for the past few days and it's actually rather cool at the moment. Maybe summer will come back?
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Glorious tummy furrs, TJ! And a belated Happy B'Day to your daddy too!
ReplyDeleteTiny Johnson,
ReplyDeleteYou look mighty relaxed. We think Emily is too young, though, to have a gander at that floofy tummy!
signed,

Tiny, you've turned relaxamacating into an art form.
ReplyDeleteYou really should offer an online class or something.
; )
It's called the Dog Days of Summer because the dog star, Sirius, is highest in the sky.
ReplyDeleteWell....that's what I heard anyway.
We are lucky it hasn't been that hot here this summer. And the grass has been really cool to lay on. Hobbes has been in heaven.
