Freckle Friday





Kitties!

Felix here.
Mommy is busy getting ready for her trip...but she got out the camera today and took a photo of me, and my freckles!  When I was a kitten my lips and nose were pink, but the older I get the frecklier they become.  Even my whiskers are getting in on the game--some of them are dark brown--when they all used to be white.  I think it must be an Ornj thing.

Do any of you have freckles?  Were you born with 'em, or did they appear later?
I wanna know!

    I have growing freckles, and so did Stran. Pekka is freckle free. None of the rest have nosicle changes so maybe it is an ornj thing.

    I've heard that orange cats get freckles the more years they have! While we ruddy Somalis aren't technically orange cats, Sparkle did have one freckle on her nose that she developed.

    When I was small I had a small pink nose and my lips were furry pink as well my whiskers were white. Now that I am 8 I have many black freckles - too many to count and a few of my whiskers have turned black as well.

    My ornj Julius has freckles and has for sure gotten more of them with age, like a fine wine. Or mouldy cheese. Or something. Have a GREAT trip!

    I don't have any nose freckles but I do have a few on my bottom lip. Eric had lots on his nose and lips so it must be an ornj thing.

    Tanner still doesn't have any on his nose, but he has them on his lips and around his eyes. He didn't have them when he was a baby.

    Cousin Pirate has a freckle on his nose that has gotten larger as he has aged too...he is black and white.

    It's an Orange Stripey thing. Hobbes has them too and I've read that is very common. Your freckles are very cute!

    when I was younger I had a tiny little black bit on my nose and now it almost covers half but I don't mind because it looks good.

    All us Ginger Girls here have freckles on our lips. Pia has some on her nose now too! Our mom calls them Wisdom Freckles because we got them when we became older and wiser. She thinks she's clever. Shhh, don't tell our mom we were already wiser when we were little.

    The Waff has a few dark whiskers too! ...and the older he gets, the more freckles. Too bad that doesn't correspond to good behavior. Pretty sure he'll ALWAYS be in trouble.

    Oh, and Glogirly is just SWOONING at that little peek of tongue!

    No freckles on my meezer face, but my whisker humps is getting whiter as mes gets more white hairs.
