Kitties!
Felix here.
hmmmm...Daddy usually has some interesting things in his office trash can...let's see what's in here today...
SCORE!!
The wax strip off of a mailing envelope--a tasty trashy tidbit.
If I'm stealthy Daddy will never notice me pilfering this...
...or not.
Rats!
Time to destroy the evidence.
No, I'm not doing anything.
Move along now; nothing to see...no cats eating paper out of the trash...
(paper removal from cat gullet not pictured)
Daddy! Give it back!
(abject begging also not pictured)
Damn.
(insert sulking)
Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
Happy Friday!

You are lucky! All OUR trash cans here have metal lids that fold down tight. We have nefer gotten into a single one. Even when there are chickie-skins in them!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that's why my human put the office trash can on top of the hutch.
ReplyDeleteUnfair! Bin contents should be fair game.
ReplyDeleteWe also note you have nerdy bins with lovely symbols on. Question - which of you is the oxidiser ?
I like diggin in da trash too - I's always lookin for food though.
ReplyDeleteIt must be the glue that attracts them. Willow also likes cellophane if she can steal it.

One of our cats like to steal the dental floss out of the bathroom trash. We learned very quickly to put it in a covered trash can only.
ReplyDeleteFelix, if I a photo of every thing that I've pulled out of a cat gullet...well, maybe no one would want to see that. But we've purchased trash cans with lids, so cats cannot explore them...just to avoid bad things from getting into cat stomachs.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure there are support groups for those with envelope strip 'issues.'
ReplyDeleteMean daddy for stopping your fun. Still, it's better than a visit to the vet!
ReplyDeleteCareful, you could get tape worm!
ReplyDeleteDaddies are spoilsports sometimes aren't they?
ReplyDeleteFelix do your dumpster diving at night....they'll never catch you! MOL
ReplyDeleteOh, the 'rents are always ruining our fun.
ReplyDeleteI like those strips that come off a self adhesive envelope too
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
What a spoil sport . LOL
ReplyDeleteBetween William eating the weatherstripping and you with the wax strips our nip addiction seems pretty tame.
ReplyDeleteTrash-cat...MOL :D Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend :) <3
ReplyDeleteTee Hee! Me has a serious KFC addition and used to steal the bones...until Mommy and Daddy got smart.

That was SO unfair, Felix. Once it's in the trash, it's fair game!
