Concerned CC

Kitties!

CC here.
Do you think I look a little worried?
I am!
I'm worried that you all might be a little sad, because we haven't been leaving comments a whole lot on our pals' blogs, lately.
Naturally Mommy is to blame for this and she accepts it entirely--she'd better--but the awful thing is that she says it's just too much on her plate right now; that we are victims of our own success.  That she simply can't keep up the pace...that she's stressing about it and it's taken the fun out of  reading blogs.

Whatever, Mommy.  You are lame.

HOWEVER!  Don't Panic, friends.

We have no intentions whatsoever to give up blogging, it's too much fun.

So please, if you don't hear from us it's not because we haven't visited--we have--but rather that our Mommy is a Horrible Terrible Person and unwilling to acquiesce to our every demand.

*sigh*

But maybe this means more lap time and less laptop time...hmmmmm...which may not be an entirely bad deal!

Right Mommy?

Right you are, my little Cee Monster.

  1. Oh OC, please tell mommy that I TOTALLY understand. Before I started my blog I happily bounced around all the blogs I loved and never worried about commenting. Now I feel like I am always drowning in needing to reply to comments or leave comments everywhere. But I feel this way because instead of being a lurker I now have all these blog friends and I don't want them to think I don't still love them. I am very glad you are not going to give up and please know that even though I love comments, it is much more important to spend time with who matters... YOU!

  2. Concerned, but beautiful. My mom has the same concerns. There are so many wonderful blogs to follow she can't keep up every day.

  3. Please tell your mom not to worry, CC, our human is the same and blog or comment whenever time avails. Purrs and headbutts from all of us.

  4. There are so many cat blogs, and it's really hard to keep up! I understand totally!

  5. We totally understand, and Äiti is the worst commenter ever. Luckily we have amazing Loyal Readers who understand.
    A very handosom selfie, CC.

  11. The Staff confided in me that she will need an upgrade if she is expected to spend 24/7 reading and commenting on blogs and have no life whatsoever! I say there is no other life! Suck it up, human and break out the treats!

  12. Having more lap time rather than laptop time sounds great!
It's good to keep your pace...blogging shouldn't be a stress but fun :-)

  13. We'd forgive you anything with that sweet face CC. Our horrible Mom does the same thing - sometimes you need a break.

  14. CC just tell you Mom to chillix. She can perhaps comment on a handful of blogs each time she visits and by the time the week is over she will have left comments on all the ones she visits. Don't feel pressure to leave comments everyday. Your photo CC is gorgeous!

    Happy #sundayselfie

  15. Oh, we understand. We luff comments, like everyone, but it's not always possible to leave them. Sometimes you only have time to read and dash. Meow to your mom that she is free to do that with ours, and we will totally be cool with that.

  16. Your mom is wiser than ours : Mum tries to finish her plate whatever happens... and get all stressed ! Purrs

  17. That is a gorgeous selfie CC. You look so soft and cuddly. My mum says don't worry, she knows exactly what you mean. She used to try so hard to keep up with everybody that she got to the point she just didn't want to blog any more. Then she thought about all the friends she had made and knew she couldn't just pack it in. Now she reads what she can and only comments when she can. When the reader gets too full she marks everything older than a day as read. She wishes she could visit all our friends every day, but it is impossible.

  18. Your mom shouldn't stress... Blogging is just supposed to be fun, that's all.

  19. That's OK, we understand. We don't get to visit much these days, either. Mommy reads a lot on her phone but then Lexy and I don't get to visit. Happy Sunday!

  20. Meow to you, we hear ya! Our mom is falling down on the job too and feeling guilt trips! Friend of ours said, "Wow Cat Blogging is like getting another full time job gig!" Yup, we all have several full time jobs now: 1) pleasing the humans 2) answering mail 3) cat blogging 4) cat blogging again....

  21. Thanks, CC. We're not doing that great on the commenting front either, with #1 all over the globe...

  23. Oh, CC... please tell your mom that we TOTALLY understand. Sometimes there are just not enough hours in the day. We feel the same way! If we could comment on everyone's blog everyday we sure would...but we know that life sometimes gets in the way. As long as there's time for breakfast, lunch and dinner we're happy! (yes! we sometimes even get lunch!)

  24. We completely understand how hard it is to keep up. We appreciate *so much* everyone who leaves nice messages us and wish that we could visit everyone every single day, but there just isn't enough time in the day to accomplish everything!

  25. Don't worry your pretty little head CC, we fully understand.

  28. It's summer. People (me, included) are outside and/or doing stuff other than sitting inside and blogging. It's okay. You always get the mulligan at the Duck and Wheel.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Okay...we'll blame your mommy, CC. :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Don't feel bad. We don't read everybody every day anymore either. It is just too much. We read almost all of them every day but sometimes we just can't, so we understand.

  31. It's an appawently an epidemic CC. Our mom bean hasn't even been blogging for us this weekend - there was no lap time either No, the silly bean was out splashing stuff on the wood sticks in the back yard.
Hopefully things slow down around your house and ours soon and things get back to normal - where kitties are spoiled!

  32. Great selfie. Don't worry about the comments. Our mom has been blogging for 7 years and this is the worst she's ever been with leaving comments. Just do what yiou can.

    ReplyDelete
  33. CC, we feel your pain 'cause we are having the same problem. Mom went on vacation for two weeks and then to BlogPaws and now says she is so behind doing things around the house and in the yard that she cannot spend every moment doing our bidding. As that should be her ONLY job, we don't get it. But Mom says that neither your mom nor y'all should stress out. We all ebb and flow when it comes to our blogs and that of our friends and everyone understands. Stay cool. We love you and thank you for taking the time to be part of our blog hop. 34. You gotta tell your mommy about 'blogging without obligation'! You do what you can when you can and you don't feel guilty about anything! Because if you start feeling bad, then you'll stop and we don't want that! Now give her hugs and tell her that we love her whether she comments or not!

    ReplyDelete
  35. We totally understand, CC. When visiting blogs becomes a chore, then the humans stop doing even that, and we want to keep up. Currently, we only comment a few days a week but read the other days and will make a comment or two if situations warrant it on those days. That allows us to actually get something done. Even that schedule may have to be cut back soon. We would love to comment on everyone's blog every day but humans having to work gets in the way.

    ReplyDelete
  36. unless you are making boat loads of money, blogging should be fun. Do what you can, visit blogs you enjoy..

    ReplyDelete
  37. Please - (mum says we can't use CAPITALS ;-) Don't stress. Sometimes Cats Herd you has it right comment a little but, maybe if you feel the blog deserves it.

Mum has bad patches and misses commenting on heaps of blogs *head in paws* and we know other pals worry from the same position. So, if you have a bit of time, comment on one or two - when you have a quiet moment. If life gets busy, you can't - take a 'deep breff' as Dash Kitten used to say - do what you can when you can - that's it!

  38. Well, at least your mommy has been better than OURS. Pffft! Our mom has been so involved in ceramics that she has fallen WAY BEHIND on our blog. She has been reading and sometimes commenting, but we feel TOTALLY let down! So much has been happening here, and you would never know it because of our lazy mom.
