Kitties!
Rupert here.
Mommy wanted a portrait of me.
I was Not Inclined to cooperate.
At all.
Mommy had to clean the lens after this one...heh heh heh.
Finally I became bored with her whining and pleading took pity on her and posed, but the first shot was second rate; she cut off my handsome radar dish ear™.
So I gave her one last chance for a money shot:
et voilà!
Happy Monday!
XX Rupert XX
You were just tarting for the camera, not thwarting - admit it!
ReplyDeleteRupert, we love your spunk and defiance, but we understand having to give in just to get the darn humans to leave us kitties alone. The last two shots were pretty purrfect, even the one with the half missing ear. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteIf you don't make humans work for these portraits, they won't appreciate them!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely kept her on her toes but we think the end result was worth it.
ReplyDeletetee..heh... Be good at the end, who can complain ?
ReplyDelete** Take note, will do to my mom ***
Make her work for it! Good job!
ReplyDeleteLooking fine, Rupert. And you made her really work for that fabulous shot, too, which is even better.
ReplyDeleteCertainly worth all the work you put her through...
ReplyDeleteHaha, I gotta give credit to your mom for trying so hard to get a good portrait of you :-) The last photo is really stunning. You are such a gorgeous kitty, Rupert!
ReplyDeleteYou were playing with your human again, weren't you?
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
I am glad you finally cooperated so we could see your adorable face.
ReplyDeleteRupert, you did a really good job of thwarting your human, but we're glad you finally let her take your handsome pic.
ReplyDeleteDood, the chin-up pose conveyed your catitude PURRfectly!
ReplyDeleteOh, Rupert...your lovely gray fur makes me miss my Grace today!
ReplyDeleteIt was kind of ya to relent on the pictures, Rupert! We have to be kind ta our pet Beings sometimes. Indulge them, even.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to make them work for it.
ReplyDeleteOh Rupert...I laugh at this, because my kitties do the same thing! At some point, however, the human's capacity to wait it out overtrumps the cats desire to remain unphotographed. Humans are just mean, aren't they?
