Kitties!
Rupert, the Mighty Lizard Hunter here.
After endless hours of watching and stalking, I caught me a George...and attracted an entourage, which was well behaved--for once.
Well, except for Mommy and her running commentary:

As if eating a lizard is gross--it's not--they are delicious! So good, in fact, it stayed down. Now that's a mark of a most truly excellent snack, no?
Happy Monday!
XX Rapacious Rupert XX
That was a baby George so nice and tender, wethinks.
ReplyDeleteBravo!!! And very polite table manners.
You kitties are lucky - my human would have caught him and set him free.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a very tasty snack. My cat Toffee is jealous.
ReplyDeleteThat's Purrfect
Go Rupert! Why does your human sound surprised it stayed down? We always keep our lizards down, though we don't get them very often. When one gets into the house, it's a big cause for celebration.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what you're talking about... He brought a friend in to see the awesome new chair! He can't help it if the friend fell over dead at the awesomeness of it! Looks like Scouty decided not to stick around and see if it was to be Scouty and George stew tonight!
ReplyDeleteWas it a very tasty lizard?
ReplyDeletePoor George.
ReplyDeleteWell done! I love the way cats look away when they're playing with live prey. At least Rupert kept at it and got the prize.
ReplyDeleteRupert, you've proven your big-game hunting skills!
ReplyDeleteHey! How come we never get anything bigger than a spider to munch on? MOM! We want Georges!
ReplyDeleteSo lucky are you, we don't have any lizards around and even if we do, the humans would take it away from us.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
Bruce is Master Lizard catcher; good thing he brings them straight in so I can grab them & take them right back out again.
ReplyDeleteMiss Jack would like to point out that in your header SYLVESTER'S name is smaller than all the rest. This is clearly speciesist and must be rectified immediately.

Us
We feel so deprived. We don't have any Georges around here.
ReplyDeleteIt was INSIDE?! Kinda like us getting real live mousies in the house.
ReplyDeleteGlad it stayed down :)
ReplyDeleteWe arent the BEST skink-catchers, but TBT has noticed that NONE of the ones he sees here have tails. So we are getting close...
ReplyDeleteBe sure ta come ta my 6th Birfday Pawty tomorrow 16th! It may be our best yet... ~ MARLEY
