Kitties!
We got a package in the mail on Saturday!
It was from Lucky who lives in Malaysia--and we are here to tell you that they have some seriously good Feline Recreational Herbage. It's called Silvervine, or Matatabi, and it gave us the Super Sillies.
We'd never tried this before, although we'd heard of it.
We got a package of dried silvervine and a hand made pillow PACKED with it!
Rupert snagged the pillow right away.
He dribbled all over it and took it into the cubes to love on it.
The Baby was offended by all the dribble, but she enjoyed the dried leaves, a LOT.
Felix, of course, was unimpressed.
Grayce loved the pillow and she was rolling all over the floor in the leaves.
Sylvester liked the package better than the pillow...
...but you can see they both got pretty baked!
Maui came by a little later and got all silly--for a few minutes, anyway.
Then he passed out too.
Thank you SO much, Lucky & Co!
We LOVE our gift, Mommy and Daddy laughed watching us have such a great time.
It's nice to have such good connections...heh heh.
Happy Sunday!

Wow, you guys had a veritable silvervine orgy!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. We've nefur heard of this. It must be primo stuff! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWe're gonna have to get some of this stuff! How could we not have known?
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys had a good time!
Well, that's something new, isn't it? How does it compare to your favorite valerian?
ReplyDeleteOooo that DOES look good!!!
ReplyDeleteLol how funny to see their different reactions. I once bought catnip in little bags, but instead of getting all crazy, my cats just sniffed a little and then ignored it !
ReplyDeleteOkay, so now you are getting gear direct from the East. Your little network of supplying and demanding is truly global. So how does this stuff compare to the 'nip and the root ? Is it an upper or downer ? Does it make the pink mousies fly or burrow ? And how did you get it through customs???
ReplyDeleteWethinks you must have been on it when you commented on our blog post, considering you can't tell the difference between the Rock of Norway and Mirsku! Everyone one knows the Rock is GREEN!
Yay! We are of course old matatabi hands at this end since we always get supplies from Japan and we just LOVE it!!! In fact... time for #1 t break some out!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Hey how DID you manage to fool customs? Looks like high grain stuff. Chillin and a coolin!!! >^,.^<
ReplyDeleteWow, that must be some powerful stuff!
ReplyDeleteWow! You guys enjoyed this gift very much. Unfortunately our human doesn't know about this matatabi thing.
ReplyDeleteMe and mom have never heard about this stuff either.
ReplyDeleteSeems to be really good stuff !!
Looks like you guys enjoyed quite the buzz. Good stuff, I'm assuming!
ReplyDeleteNew frontiers on the war on drugs. You see, this is why we'll never win this thing. They keep coming up with new stuff. The World: It's a Big Place. Stomp it out here; it'll crop up there. Like moles.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift package to receive!
ReplyDeleteWe loved watching you with your gifts from Lucky - they are so addictive to us sniffers!! He sent us a nippy pillow a few weeks ago and we laughed when we saw yours was soggy - mum said ours was disgustingly slobbery!!!
ReplyDeleteWe know you will all have a good time.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Looks like you had a great time! My husband was in quite the mood yesterday, so I offered him some of Alex's catnip. Alex wasn't to happy about it. How I wish I could have given him this! :)
