Daddy put the empty* container of silvervine out for us to glean.

CC got all over that bad boy!  Actually, everyone (who was awake) did.

There was much huffing and puffing...and licketty lick licking.

Inevitably, boneless euphoria set in...

...until the urge to tussle struck!

Finally, May Ling exclaimed: "Dude, you're harshing my buzz!"

To which Rupert replied:  Um...were we doing something?

Calm, cool, and collected, that's me...even sniffing the strangely-shaped toy that Mommy so evilly thoughtfully dipped into the silvervine jar not a hair's out of place.

hmmmm.

It appears that I have silvervine all over my paw.  Better tidy that up pronto.

Whack-Job Wednesday

Maui here.

Daddy gave me some silvervine on a pink washcloth.  Pink is a very Manly color, you know.

It made me Crazypants!

 OK, Crazypantsier.

After a few long sniffs, I needed to scratch like a madcat.

I killed the cat tree post many many many times.

The smell of the 'Vine was intoxicating!  I had to have some more.

I thlurrped up all the stray particles on my snooter...

...and splayed my toes whilst rubbing my forehead into the pile for maximum effect.

This caused me to lose my grip, and roll!

Fortunately I didn't have far to go, just to the other side.

I had a wonderful time.

Hopefully it'll happen again tomorrow...

Fried-Day

About a week ago, Spitty sent us a sample of silvervine powder.

HOLY COD.

Spitty was not kidding how fantastically fabulously fun the 'vine is!  This stuff is Da Chronic.  Mommy barely got the envelope open before we were swarming her.  Rupert actually abseiled up her leg (she had jeans on but she still screamed a little) to get to the envelope!   We mauled the card and envelope for a week until they were disgustingly chewed wrung out of every last enticing, intoxicating molecule.

Mommy stored the powder in a tiny tupperware container, and she and Daddy have doled a little out every day.  Bliss.

Mommy e-mailed Boomer's Mom, who is the "(wo)Man" for the 'vine connection, and asked for another little green bag to be sent...because we kitties deserve the best in feline psychotropics!

However, the post is slower than our consumption.  Ain't that the way it always goes?

So for now, we are OUT!

Maui was jonesing today, so Daddy gave him the tupperware container to sniff.

Guess what?

There was enough stink left in the container for another good play session!

 Maui got all googly-eyed...

...and then he got v-e-r-y relaxed.

Couch Lock!

Daddy tried to take the tiny tupperware away.

Unsuccessfully.

Eventually, though, he got his way...heh heh.

Silvervine Sunday

Kitties!

We got a package in the mail on Saturday!

It was from Lucky who lives in Malaysia--and we are here to tell you that they have some seriously good Feline Recreational Herbage.  It's called Silvervine, or Matatabi, and it gave us the Super Sillies.

We'd never tried this before, although we'd heard of it.

We got a package of dried silvervine and a hand made pillow PACKED with it!

Rupert snagged the pillow right away. 

He dribbled all over it and took it into the cubes to love on it.

The Baby was offended by all the dribble, but she enjoyed the dried leaves, a LOT.

Felix, of course, was unimpressed.

Grayce loved the pillow and she was rolling all over the floor in the leaves.

Sylvester liked the package better than the pillow...

...but you can see they both got pretty baked!

Maui came by a little later and got all silly--for a few minutes, anyway.

Then he passed out too.

Thank you SO much, Lucky & Co!

We LOVE our gift, Mommy and Daddy laughed watching us have such a great time.

It's nice to have such good connections...heh heh.
