The mystery toesies in yesterday's post were mine!

Earlier, I was snuggling on the sofa with Mommy.  Also, I was keeping an eye on the two rambunctious fluffmeisters (because they tease me) sleeping on the table behind us. 

Mommy likes this photo--not because it's any great shakes, but check out the shadow of my head on the sofa from the light of the TV--I'm making the bat signal!  Pretty cool, eh?

 We all got plenty of chicken on Thanksgiving, and a few of us took a walk on the wild side, indulging in some species-inappropriate comestibles such as smashed taters, sweet potato casserole, and pie crust.

Everything was yummy!

Now it's time for a wee siesta...

Best Seat in the House

Every night when Mommy goes to bed it is my Catly Duty to sit on her chesticles, pinning her down to the mattress.  She whines that it hurts her back but I'm pretty sure she's fibbing,* because she lets me do it every.  single.  evening.

So, you think I'd be thrilled to have the Best Seat in the House, but "best" implies there are  other seats...which means I have to share Mommy.

However... 

there are benefits for my benevolence and not getting all screechy and territorial and paw-slappy though.  Like chin rubs.

And whiskerhole massage!

And most enjoyable of all, scruff scritchies.

All of which (you may note) the others are not receiving!**

The Cat Daze of Summer

It's that time of the summer that some people mistakenly call the Dog Days.

I beg to differ!

These nice long hot days are tailor-made for kitties; lazing about, and napping, and daydreaming, and snoozing, and airing out the tummy furs, and...well...you get the general idea--the stuff at which we Cats excel.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some urgent relaxamicating to do...I wouldn't want to be accused of slacking!

Special Effect ManCats

The Three Catskateers here.

Mommy took some photos of us, and because of her ineptness for some strange reason they all came out a little blurry.  So, she decided to try making lemonade and uploaded 'em into a photo editor to play!

We really like them now, after using the Orton effect filter.

Scouty's coat looks like molten copper and gold.

Mister Orton turned Johnny's whites bright, for once.  Thank Cod something can--he sure won't!

Pretty good so far, huh?  Well, wait for it...
