Daddy took a bunch of photos of me the other day (you may have seen one) and I wanted to show you some more.
Because I'm just so cute.
And modest.
And oh, so filthy dirty...
...at least on one side!
Kitties, Mommy is all geared up for her upcoming trip to Finland. If you are on Facebook, she has created a page called Finnishing School, in which she'll be documenting her traveling adventures, and she will try and post here often as well. Daddy has promised to email photos of us doing our usual annoying wonderful activities so paws crossed you'll get to see us as well as the Punapippuri Clan. There are a few commemorative postcards still unspoken for, drop us a line at the email in the sidebar if you would like one.
And now I have to dash around the yard like a Madcat...yesterday I went up and over the back wall into the neighbor's yard! (There are some excellent eating/barfing weeds over on that side.) Mommy and Daddy were a tiny tad upset because they had to clamber over the wall after me but like they said at least I feel peppy enough to leap eight feet.
You know, The Baby isn't the only Bad White Cat here at The Lounge...I like to get *high* on the Pot Shelf too!
Friday morning I leaped up for a tiny harmless wander to and fro, but made the mistake of doing so (rookie!--she's nowhere near as sneaky naughty as the Other White Cat--ed.) while Mommy was in the kitchen, ready and willing to get me on camera!
Note to self: Next time, explore before she gets up.
Sorry about the portrait layout...I at least timed my exploits before Mommy had her coffee, so she wasn't at her, um, cinematographic "best".
And...if you have the sound up, at the 0:14 mark you can hear me talk!
Did you see the open cupboard? Maui, Rupert, and The Baby have an elaborate time-share roster for who gets to sleep there, and when. I merely wanted to see if anykitty was at home! So naturally Mommy had opened it up for me to investigate...she's alright.
After the movie, I made one more pass around the crockery and hopped back down, ready for my morning cream, which Mommy was adding to her (now brewed) coffee. After all the excitement I really needed a refreshing drink! So I got my dollop on the counter, lapped it all up, and went out for a wash and a nap. All in all, a good expedition.
Happy Caturday, Kitties...and Boldly Go Wherever YOU Want!
I've become increasingly annoyed by The Man's attempts to curb my perambulating curiosity.
To wit:
Posted: by the 18th green of the defunct golf course over at Lake Las Vegas.
Result: I walked all over that puppy.
Posted: by the side of the road where there is absolutely nothing, including vehicle access.
Result: I sat down and parked my fanny. Just because.
Posted: on a 1-acre parcel in the middle of a residential area.
Result: I didn't jump the fence. Yet. I desperately want a selfie of me right next to this sign--I've scoped it out and concluded I need to wear shoes that have narrower toes so I can get up and over.
I decided to get up on the pot shelf in the kitchen, the one place in the house where we are Not Allowed.
Mommy saw me do it, and instead of reasonably asking me to reconsider my decision to ascend (and prevent me from Getting Into Trouble) she ran for the camera and screeched for Daddy...
...who flung the Washrag of Discipline at me.
I was not impressed, and moved to a new spot...
...where I was once again accosted by Daddy and his filthy fabric flagellator!
Enough of this nonsense.
I'll get back up here when they're not looking.
I shot Daddy a Dirty Look, so he knew I was only getting down because I wanted to.
Meanwhile, Mommy continued to document the entire sordid affair.
